While the flash drive is a good deal on reliable Kingston storage it is a little slow.

1st I am not a computer geek/wiz but I am above avg with usage of technology.

I have had no problems with this it does what it's supposed to. I got a 3.0 because 32 GB would need faster download/upload speed for bigger files like videos. It seems faster..not that much faster but it does the job.
I can not comment on cons.
This was a great buy and use it every day for college.
Don't go anywhere else this brand will not let you down, I gave it a 4 star because I expected speed to be like crazy fast..but it is just tad bit faster.

BUT by no means let that lead you to not buy it, it does the job of saving (i mean is that not what we use usb for?)

Update:

This USB is pretty quick, the reason I did not get fast write read speeds was because I had not plugged it into 3.0 slot..this USB is really good upgrade to the 2.0 version i own.

Most mfg.'s are unloading their 2.0 flash drives at a pretty low price right now, so unless you *need* 3.0 performance, there are probably better choices for you out there. That said, this is a great deal for a 16GB 3.0 flash drive - you are getting 3.0 performance for only a little more than 2.0 prices. I'm seeing, on average, 74/30 MBs seq. read/write performance (via CrystalDisk benchmark) on USB3.0. The only downside is the heat build-up with this drive ... it gets pretty warm, even when not being accessed (not "ready-to-melt" type hot, but it's pretty noticeable). Other than that, it's a good deal.

Well I can vouch for the 30 MB/s write speed. My laptop showed a consistent 30 MB/s when I transferred a 6 GB file to the USB which only took about 3 minutes 20 seconds by the way. There is an indicator light which doesn't overload the visual senses like my last USB drive. The slide and snap into place of the body is pretty nice since you don't need to worry about a cap. It was for a pretty good price as well for a little less than $20. Also I don't know about the other reviewer but the capacity of mine is actually 14.7 GB.

The right performance at the right price. I have had compatibility issues with other flashdrives, but Kingston builds with quality and it worked well with all devices so far.

After having a good history with other Kingston drives, I went with this one when I was looking for a 3.0 USB Flash Drive. I tested the speed of the drive, which as expected was excellent, achieving 83.87 MB/s on CrystalDiskMark. However, after trying the device on multiple computers it routinely disconnects, freezes, and causes Windows Explorer to crash. This drive is junk, so please avoid. If you want 3.0 USB speed, look at another flash drive.

After about 15 months of usage drive is dead.. I've tried few recovering tools, but every time when i plug it in some other PC it is recognized as Removable Disk instead of KINGSTON, and Windows is unable to access or format it.

Purchased the 16 GB drive a while back and ended up throwing it away. The drive failed after about 3 uses. Usually I use the Safely remove hardware button in windows to unmount the drive, and have had great luck with previous drives, but this one didn't seem to last. It was extremely fast for the day or so it worked though.
