Hi Victor, The DT101G2 flash drive does not have an indicator light. Currently, only our performance USB 3.0 and encrypted secure USB drives include an indicator light. Such as the DTR30G2: http://www.amazon.com/Kingston-Digital-16GB-DataTraveler-DTR30G2/dp/B00JPZTCJQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416508877&sr=8-1&keywords=dtr30g2%2F16 Thank you for choosing Kingston.

I just checked Staples today (November 30, 2010) and this flash drive is selling for $34.99, so it's not cheaper now. Is Staples was running a special it's over now. Wish I hit it in time. I could use a good deal on flash drives. I found a few 4GB, not Kingston here at Amazon for less than $4 each but shipping was more than the flash drives, so they weren't worth ordering online either.
