4.0 out of 5 stars One of two worked
Bought two sets of sticks, first set had one of the sticks go bad within a week; that will be taken care of by warrenty. The second set has been in use for over a month, so far so good, the life time warrenty is very nice to have.

5.0 out of 5 stars kingston ddr is great, October 17, 2005

This review is from: Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G 1GB DDR400 DDR Non-ECC CL3 Kit (Personal Computers)
I was having some problems with my PC, I work with 3d renderings and my computer was rebooting each time I try to render a big image. I just changed my memory to kingston's 1 GB DDR400 and my problem is know solved. Now i have a better performance and faster response from the computer. I recommend this product.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far - so good, November 7, 2006

This review is from: Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G 1GB DDR400 DDR Non-ECC CL3 Kit (Personal Computers)
Service: Ordered the sticks on Thursday, recieved them on Monday!

Performance: Used these to boost my RAM to 1.5 Gig (previously had KVR400X64C3AK2/512 in my system, which is the little brother to this set). All were recognized at boot-up and has markedly increased my performance (some apps boot up in half the time previously!). Need to test further, but so far, so good!

Installed and functioned just fine. Great price for name brand memory, and boosting my system RAM to 2GB has improved performance. Would purchase Kingston memory again.

This memory worked from power-on. Makes my video rendering much faster now that I have 1.5G in my Dell 8300.

This is a great value for pair of 512 MB DDR400, one more reason to avoid those no-name brand memories out there.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well with ASUS P5P800-VM and INTEL Pentium D930 CPU, June 26, 2006
This review is from: Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G 1GB DDR400 DDR Non-ECC CL3 Kit (Personal Computers)
Pros: They work. Feel sturdy, as compared to manufacturers that use a cheaper PCB. Good price for 1gig or memory.

Cons: None, so far.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to go with my new Pentium D 930 and an ASUS P5P800-VM mobo. BUT, after installing everything I noticed that these sticks of mem' are NOT on ASUS's "DDR Qualified Vendors List". Now, Kingston IS on the list, but not this model #. It would be helpful to know this BEFORE I bought it all and opened it. Anyway, they work.

5.0 out of 5 stars RAM at its finest!, May 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

It does a great job, like a Kingston device would. I was willing to know if it consists of two sticks, and it was perfect! By the way, the seller is good, so don't abandon if he or she is late.
