Excellent, fast, stable memory module. BIOS must be set manually to acheive 1066MHz running 5-5-5-15 @ 2.2V+. No problems so far. No heat issues. Installed an 80mm cooling fan over the memory and NB heatsink just for added measure. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 AM2+. I initally installed the Corsair Dominator PC-8500 1066MHz 4GB EPP Dual Channel which continued to dump and BSOD. I thought the Corsair may have been defective so I returned it to Corsair for a replacement, to no avail, same results. After installing the Kingston, my computer has been very stable with the Vista Ultimate OS 64 bit. I don't think the Corsair was compatible with the Gigabyte mobo. Quality Vendor list depicted the Corsair memory but not the Dominator. I have used Kingston over the years and was always satisfied. Kingston will be my first option for all of my future upgrade needs.

Well this is my second pair of this beautiful memory, run very fast at 1066 and 2.2v 5-5-5-15, if you want to run 4 x 1gb you have to set it at 2.5v to run stable at least in my MSI p45 PLatinum,

Pros: Fast, no problems at all. Running great at 5-5-5-15 @ 1066, 2.0V. The stickers on my pair actually say 2.3V, but I have zero problems running at 2.0V. Blue color perfectly matches my motherboard's RAM slots.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: SPD on this memory is set to the JEDEC standard 5-5-5-18 @ 800, 1.8V. Some people call this a con, but in reality, it's exactly as Kingston intended. Kingston even mentions it on the spec sheet if you check their website. It's a simple matter of changing your BIOS settings to get the higher speed. If you absolutely must have RAM that plugs-n-plays at 1066, then look elsewhere.

I have been using Kingston's ValueRAM series on my computers for years. While building a computer recently, I decided to go with Kingston's HyperX rated at 1066MHz; I have four sticks of RAM for a total of 4GB. With the combination of a eVGA 8800 GTS G92 graphic card and an Intel Core 2 Q6600 quad core, my computer performs better that I could have imagined. And since I am operating on the 64-bit version of Vista Home Premium, the extra RAM has paid off, as I rarely peak above 37% of the RAM being used when the computer is at idle. If you are looking for RAM that is extremely fast and reliable, go with Kingston's HyperX ValueRAM.

I ordered this memory in 2010 and it still runs like the day I installed it in my pc. I have 4 other newer gaming pc's now but I still use the pc this memory is in to run games like world of tanks and some older flight sims like Microsoft flight simx and it works perfect. I have not had 1 issue with this memory and the memory for ddr2 can't be beat. If you still need ddr2 memory this is what you want to order...
I use hyperx memory in all my pc's and this is why(It Last Forever)...

Kingston HyperX 4GB 1066MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 DIMM (Kit of 2) Desktop Memory

I purchased this item to max out my ASUS M3A motherboard with 8GB ram. I was a bit skeptical when I bought it, as I have never used Kingston ram before and wondered if it would work properly. But after installing it, my computer booted up without any problem whatsoever and I did not have to enter CMOS to make any changes. I am very pleased with this item and would recommend it to anyone needing 8GB DDR2 1066MHz Non-ECC ram.

Hi, Hello. I don't know anything about PC installations, but I installed this! How awesome am I? cool beans thanks. It is a great deal for these Rams and they are cheaper than most other big shot brands.

Well Let's talk a bit more about this fabtabulous product. It runs my Windows 64bit Ultimate with greater ease much faster than only having 4 gigs. yess I bought 2 sets of these bringing me to a total of 8 gigs. 4 Dimm slots 2 gigs per slot. I am a Photographer and an Artist so I need all the MegaRams I can get. I often do video editing or large digital paintings and I process a great deal of RAW images from my DSLR on my home computer. So you can see why i wanted such KICKASS MegaRams.

My computer has 3 hard drives and I pull from them as needed sometimes all three at the same time and the time it takes to accomplish this is a great deal less than before. it can handle BIG tasks faster. Video editing from one HDD, Playing Music from another, all while having Adobe RAW editor and bridge opened. I jump around from task but leave the window or program opened for the others. It helps me think on the next cut while I edit some shots and so on.

Render time for ANYTHING is literally cut by half. System boots faster. Photoshop 64bit starts up in about 2 seconds, really! About, very very fast. Installation was a bit difficult being my first time on an install. Tight fit and you have to center them Perfectly before the snaps/clips/MegaRams retainer locking clips secure the memory sticks. if both sides don't click you didn't do it right. You might see them and think they are perfectly aligned but a tiny mm nudge to either side can mean the difference.

In closing at 2 gigs per stick and 4 sticks of Rams for me makes 8-Gigs on a 64 bit OS machine.
