When you upgrade your system RAM you can't help but to speed up your computer. I am an IT enthusiast and installed these myself. Not a big deal. Why I mention this is because after installing I noticed in the BIOS that it loaded an XMP RAM Profile for these modules. It was great to have those settings custom for the hardware loaded with all the parameters automatically set. I use several memory intensive software titles like AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, and other 3D or video titles. This RAM has been working great and is listed at a great price.

Those modules are quite tall, I have to use pliers to get the smaller to fit under my Noctua cooler!

No problems on perfomance

These Kingston memory sticks are smaller than what they look in the pictures, but that's a good thing since they're simple to install. I got two pairs of these installed in my rig and once I booted up my rig, I can really see how well these sticks perform. I had to update my BIOS in my AM3+ motherboard to take full advantage of my sticks. Once in the setup, I had to change the timings from 11-11-11-29T to 9-9-9-24T, the clock speed from 1333MHz (which was its stock speed) to 1600MHz, and the voltage setting from 1.51V to 1.65V so that my rig can really get up and dance. After tweaking the settings, my computer ran as smooth as butter and I couldn't be any happier. I had to get a Zalman CPU fan so that the heat spreaders from these sticks don't come in contact with the fan, as we know fans these days seem to get bigger than before. Kingston knows how to make really good memory sticks and they delivered. Just what the doctor... er enthusiast ordered.

I see, most of customers don't know that AMD K10 series processors only have 1333 mhz memory controller, I have the same K10 architecture processor AMD phenom IIx2 550 BE. I knew that this RAMs is better than my CPU. But this is a great price and I bought them... After installing, I ran them on 1600 mhz operating frequency and I got windows experience index 7.4... This is great result for it. But I don't stopped on it; I know that AMD K10 processors can't operate without Over Clocking (OC) with RAM with higher frequency than 1333 mhz. I set for them (for RAMs) 1333 mhz and run assessment. I got 7.5 score, instead of 7.4... Don't confuse about this reason I said already.

As you saw this is a great memory module. If anybody have CPU with K15 architecture this ram will the best choice... (K15 processors have the memory controller with maximum frequency 1866 mhz). This memory modules can very easy to OC. I think that with AM3+ processors windows experience index about this RAMs will be better, than my.

This is the best choice, with the best price.

Ups, about my PC
MB: asus m5a97;
RAM: Kingston hyperX 8GB 1600 Mhz;
CPU: amd phenom IIx2 550 BE.

When I ordered these memory cards I had high hopes for them. I had just bought a computer that had four memory slots and three 2 GB memory cards pre-installed, So I was wanting more memory (Seeing as how I'm a music maker/Gamer) and I needed the power. I wasn't expecting them to get here so quickly, but they came in five days I believe. They are large memory cards, about twice the size of standard cards. but with my computer it had plenty of space, so if you have room I would highly suggest these cards. They were extremely easy to install, and the computer after turning the power on after installation, had no problem accepting the new memory. As soon as I started testing it it worked flawlessly. I tested it by running several larger VST's and VSTi's through FL Studio Signature
Edition. And there was 0% audio clipping. which is an amazing leap from what it was like. so now my computer has 2x4 GB memory cards (Listed Above)and 2x2 GB Factory Installed Memory. but the performance noticeably tripled when I added the cards above. I would recommend these to anybody looking for memory that can feed power hungry apps. including games, audio software, or anything you wanna run.

I have 16 gigs worth of this memory and couldn't be happier. The sticks are very tall due to the heat diffusers on top, but a standard case should have more than enough room to accommodate.

It is very fast memory as long as you have mobo that can handle it and still keep system stable (which I do not). Also anybody who wants to do some overclocking should be aware that the module is quite tall what contributes to clearance issues when trying to mount top of the line CPU coolers as Noctua.
