Excellent Memory!,

This review is from: Kingston Technology ValueRAM 512 MB Desktop Memory Single (Not a kit) DDR 266 MHz (PC 2100) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM KVR266X64C25/512 (Personal Computers)
I bought this for my computer because some video games I had were running somewhat slugish. A friend told me that my 128mb of ram wasnt enuf and to try upgrading. So I picked a ram size larger than any video game required which was 512. This turned out to be the most resonably priced and its by a good company. I could not be happyer with this! It is like I bought a whole new computer! Everything moves faster and I can run alot of programs at the same time. GREAT BUY!

I purchased this chip for my 256MB RAM HP Pavilion a305w desktop. It's the first time I've ever upgraded my computer's RAM, so I was a little nervous. Once I had my case open, I put the extra chip in the extra RAM slot and started her up. Nothing happened. After fidgeting with internal hardware, fidgeting with the connections, and after switching the 256 with the 512, the computer finally came on. I now run a 768 and its been running smoothly ever since!

Great Memory Upgrade -- Installs in a Snap,

This is a high quality 512 MB RAM upgrade which I can recommend without qualification. I purchased two to replace two 128MB modules and upgrade my readily accessible memory from 256MB to 1 gig--which today's applications seem quickly to be rendering as the default minimum standard. As with any other DIMM RAM Module, the Kingston is literally a snap to install. Even if you've never been inside your computer chassis previously, you should not hesitate to do your own memory upgrade. Just be sure to know your system requirements, since these are available in different sizes and speeds to match different mother board standards and requirements.
