5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Memory!
I bought this for my computer because some video games I had were running somewhat slugish. A friend told me that my 128mb of ram wasnt enuf and to try upgrading. So I picked a ram size larger than any video game required which was 512. This turned out to be the most resonably priced and its by a good company. I could not be happyer with this! 3.0 out of 5 stars Module works fine. Price is kinda High
Bought for my sons computer upgrade for the latest piece of software he wanted to run. Would have gotten it cheaper online or even at Best Buy. But he need to use up Amazon Gift card money from his uncle. Module is fine and he has not had any problems.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems to be working great!, March 8, 2006

I purchased this chip for my 256MB RAM HP Pavilion a305w desktop. It's the first time I've ever upgraded my computer's RAM, so I was a little nervous. Once I had my case open, I put the extra chip in the extra RAM slot and started her up. Nothing happened. After fidgeting with internal hardware, fidgeting with the connections, and after switching the 256 with the 512, the computer finally came on. I now run a 768 and its been running smoothly ever since!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Memory Upgrade -- Installs in a Snap, March 9, 2007

This is a high quality 512 MB RAM upgrade which I can recommend without qualification. I purchased two to replace two 128MB modules and upgrade my readily accessible memory from 256MB to 1 gig--which today's applications seem quickly to be rendering as the default minimum standard. As with any other DIMM RAM Module, the Kingston is literally a snap to install. Even if you've never been inside your computer chassis previously, you should not hesitate to do your own memory upgrade. Just be sure to know your system requirements, since these are available in different sizes and speeds to match different mother board standards and requirements.

Installed on my HP 525 that was previously running 256 ram(intel pentium 4 processor) and was locking up more often than not. After installing this additional 512 ram, computer is now running more smoothly. Has extended the use of my computer for a couple more years. Installation was super easy.

My wife's PC had 512MB running XP Pro and for a long time it ran just great. Over time it just began to run slower and slower. The usual "fixes" of deleting browser files, defrag the HDD, etc did not work. Finally I ordered this memory upgrade - two 512MB memory cards. Wow, what a difference - her old speed was back! The service from Amazon was their usual fast and efficent. I'd order memory again from them.

5.0 out of 5 stars More Memory Equals More Speed, February 2, 2009

I bought this memory for a Dell Deminsion 4500. Well worth the purchase. I only had 256K of RAM and when I put the two 512K memory modules in my computer, it was like having a new computer. Boot-up and shutdown is faster, opening software is faster...everything is faster. Trust me, if you need to upgrade your memory for your computer, get this now.

For outdated memory, this RAM stick is perfect. Excellent price, since just about all ram is the same. Installation was a snap and the computer recognized it with no problems. Just make sure all your memory is the same type or it won't work. for example this is a PC2100 266MHZ memory module, dont upgrade a computer that has PC3200 already installed. Mixing and matching causes all sorts of problems.
