I upgraded my Dell Vostro 460 Core i5-2400 Sandy Bridge (Win7 64 bit) with two 4GB sticks of this Kingston memory for a total of 10GB installed. The memory sticks were easy to install and were immediately recognized with absolutely no problems. One thing to note is that the Kingston memory modules are surprisingly shorter than modules supplied by Dell, but they fit just fine. Also, make sure that the memory is installed in pairs in the correct slots for dual channel support in Win7 64 bit. With this memory upgrade my Vostro is measurably better in performance tests and is no longer sluggish when running multiple programs.

As a quality check I used both the Microsoft Memory Diagnostic tool and Memtest86+ to verify the newly installed memory; the memory modules passed all tests with flying colors. I have always relied on Kingston memory and have never been disappointed.

The Rampage III Extreme Motherboard has 6 ddr3 RAM slots that will utilize up to 24 gigabytes. So with in mind of making a powerful computer, I decided to buy RAM slots that were 4gb. It was hard to find a 4gb ddr3 for the Rampage III Extreme Mobo, but with a little bit of luck and youtubing I found this item. I built my computer from parts bought from Amazon and [...], and this RAM works like a charm! No problems whatsoever. I recommend snagging this at the $100.00 price tag on this ram because I paid $140.00 last month :( However, I am completely happy with the product :D Seeing the lack of reviews I hope you guys would recommend this product as well.

Have been sequentially replacing my DDR3 2GB modules with 4GB modules; this motherboard only has 4 slots, total and one is bad; populated the remaining 3 slots with Kingston 4GB DIMMs; the timings are loose enough to work just fine...had 4GB DIMMS from another off brand vendor and got
BSODs; the Kingston 4GB DIMMS work very well. RAM for DDR3 is finally coming down in price. They timed it just right for Christmas, I think. And corporate refresh. During the psst year DDR3 was at its Apex and slowly these modules have been coming down. Remembered that this happened when DDR was introduced, same with DDR2, and now DDR3.
8-19-2011; updating it's now 1/3 the price of my original purchase; looking for larger capacity RAM modules...

It seems like we're always dropping more memory in servers and these have been great with no failures or performance concerns. DDR3 for a good price can't be beat. Amazon has beat newEgg on prices even with their sales on this one but I'd check both places before ordering just to be safe. Don't want to spend a penny more than you have to :-)

This 4GB single stick was less expensive than 2 x 2GB. It also left a slot open in my ASUS E35M1-I motherboard in case I want to upgrade in the future. That motherboard only has 2 RAM slots. This memory stick was on the QVL as both single-slot and dual-slot. It was recognized right away and works perfectly.

The E35M1-I is single-channel, so it didn't make a difference that I am using only one stick. For regular use (my purpose is actually a low-power home server), I would actually buy a single 4GB stick for even a dual-channel architecture as long as it were less expensive that 2 x 2GB. For everyday use, the performance difference are next to nothing however it can save serveral watts having a single stick. Where it makes a difference is in memory-intensive application like gaming for instance. Google "single vs dual channel" and look at the benchmarks to see what I mean.

I've been having great luck price and quality-wise with Kingston lately. My last few build have been all Kingston. I am once again very happy with my latest Kingston purchase.

The build:
Kingston KVR1333D3N9/4G (this)
Lian-Li PC-Q08S mini-ITX case
ASUS E35M1-I mini-ITX motherboard
picoPSU-WI-32 120W DC-DC PSU with 18.5V/6.5A laptop adapter
1 x 250GB 2.5" HDD (OS), 1 x 1.5TB, 3 x 2TB HDD (data)
Microsoft Windows Home Server 2011

I also bought eight of these to build computers for my childrens' school. All eight passed Memtest86+ without issue and I had no issues under install or other testing.

I added a picture of what this product really looks like to this page. This is low profile RAM and it doesn't look like the product image.

quick shipping, and an amazing price for 4GB of ddr3 1333mhz. works great, and now my system has max RAM [ :( only 8gb]. Also, the stick is about half the height of a normal stick, so you have a little more room for better air flow. LOVE IT!

Basic 1.5V 1333MHz DDR3 RAM. This is the standard modern memory supported nowadays with Sandy Bridge motherboards and most processors. No heat sink, but it's low-profile, compact, and slim. Gave me no problems in my build.

I wish I could give this entire transaction six stars. I bought a $299 ASUS desktop computer to use with my 55 inch LCD in the living room. The integrated graphics would soon suck the 4gigs installed memory dry and I found myself having to frequently reboot. 28 hours after clicking once and paying nothing for shipping (thank you Amazon Prime) my four sticks of Kingston ValueRAM 4GB 1333MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL9 DIMM Desktop Memory arrived. I have gone all day, downloading music files and JPEGs, playing a DVD, streaming videos, surfing the web, checking and sending e-mails and playing numerous games without having to reboot, even once. In short, this $84 memory purchase turned an inexpensive computer with a modest CPU and mediocre graphics that once left snail-like tracks into a faster than a speeding bullet, very capable HTPC. I couldn't be happier.
