First of all, Thanks Amazon for providing the best price and fast shipping!!!
I had an old Toshiba with 512 ram for my wife ( I am a Mac user!!). It was very slow either when you turn it on or off, it takes about 10 minutes to be able to start to do anything. I got the 2g rams (1g each) and install it and boy what a big difference I noticed, it become 10 time faster than it used to be and turn it off is very fast too. I was thinking to trash it and get my wife a new one, but after installing the new rams my wife is happy with it and we decide to keep it.

Shipping: packaged arrived in time. In one piece. 1 of the cards was lose and moving around the case, which is the reason it got 4 stars.

Content: These 2 1gb each cards really made this laptop (old Toshiba) come back to life. I was about to throw it away but I decided to purchase this memory as per the 1st review which made me change my mind. Therefore, now my laptop is useful and Windows 7 is running smoothly.

Overall, I am very happy with this product. Only thing I would recommend changing is the packaging. From past experiences, loose cards have led to 3 dead on arrival cards and its a hassle to return them and get it replaced.

I highly recommend this RAM!

I'm in the process of reviving a left for dead Thinkpad Z60M. First, I installed Ubuntu which made all the difference in the world. Then I felt, what the heck, I might as well boost the RAM from 1gb to 2gb. Though not as noticeable as the operating system change it does give my new Ubuntu Thinkpad a little more pep. Installation went without a hitch.

Bought the 2x 1GB RAM module, followed the instructions for my Toshiba Satellite Laptop A105-S2716 which had two 512MB modules. The document with instructions on where RAM modules are accessible on this laptop is available online. Replaced them with these 2x 1G modules and it works great. Windows XP booted up and showed 2GB RAM in Control Panel -> System. My laptop required that both RAM modules were same size so upgraded them both.

You need to make sure that your laptop takes this 533Mhz - PC-4200 RAM type (which Toshiba model specified above does). Hopefully this will get additional life out of this laptop we purchased in 2006 since new programs like chrome, antivirus, windows end up eating more than 1G RAM easily.

I got a compact presario c500 from my brother that came with a whole bunch of problems, the main two were memory and a damage screen. I decided to take a chance ordering the ram hoping that I can bring back the laptop. I can proudly say that I have an operational laptop with 2G of ram hook up to my TV. My advice is before you order make sure and do your research, buying laptop ram can be tricky happy to say I did mine and it worked to my advantage.

I repair computers in this huge gated community and one of my clients complained of having a slow Dell laptop. I exchanged his 2 x 512 meg strips with these new 2 x 1 gig. The guy was very happy with the faster computer. A week later, I duplicated the order for another client with equal success.

When I first checked inside my notebook computer, I noticed that the memory was not the type listed in the notebook's Specifications Guide.

So, I did a search for the CORRECT memory and, viola, there it was, inexpensive and I received it in two days. Now the notebook works as it should. Yay!!

The free shipping took awile as usual but it was free. The memory went right in and was recognized. The laptop works much faster now. I am very satisfied with my purchase

After many frustrating months dealing with a laptop that was becoming increasingly slow, the Kingston ValueRAM 2 GB Kit gave my computer new life. It was easy to install and affordable and my Inspiron 1300 works like a charm now.

My computer was slow. This memory made it work faster. Amazon made it easy to find. I would recommend this memory for anyone that has a slow computer and needs more memory and your computer has room for more. It was easy to install. Just need to be sure to do the installation in a static free area and touch something to discharge any static charge before handling the memory.
