1.0 out of 5 stars be careful when searching
This issue was entirely my own doing - I'm sure the ram itself is fine, but when I searched for "pc2700 sodimm 1gb" this item [...] came up 3rd on the list with only the ram speed as part of the description - it is actually PC2-5300, not pc2700.

Be wary when searching - not all the results match your searches. I was in a rush, but now have to wait to get the...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Deal. Works with Intel iMacs., October 24, 2007

This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
Just bought a stick for a 17" Intel Core2 Duo iMac, and works perfect.

Quite a BARGAIN! Also ran the Apple Hardware test .. Quick & Extended

off the Mac OS X install disc, and NO errors.

I've always had good luck with Kingston memory for PC's and now the same

can be said for Macs too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap ram great for Apple Macbooks and Macbook Pros!, December 28, 2007

This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
I use these for my macbooks, macbook pros, and iMacs and have been extremely happy with the results.

No need to pay a lot of money for overpriced ram when you can get this "value" ram for the same price. I've used about 40 of these without a problem, highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple Speed, October 3, 2007
This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
Kingston's Ram Memory is the best...not only do they show you what the product looks like up close, they reasure you by having you enter your own computer made and model in order to send you the correct size and capacity for your computer unit.

This product just SAVED me so much time and $$$$$$ on my laptop....it just needed speed not a "REPAIR" AS THE SO CALL TECT SAID.

Thanks So Much for the info.

5.0 out of 5 stars My MacBook Pro works better now!, January 7, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
I had a MacBook Pro with 1GB of RAM. I like to run Parallels with Windows XP along with a lot of other Mac applications. When I did that, my MacBook would slow down and the beach ball of death would show up for several minutes. Now, with 2 of these bad boys in my computer, my MacBook runs faster and more smoothly with all these apps going.

I would strongly recommend this product!

5.0 out of 5 stars Definitely a value, April 18, 2008
This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
I bought this for $20 here on Amazon with free shipping. It was a great investment, not only because of the price but although its labeled "valueram" it is just as good as any other standard RAM out there for notebooks.

5.0 out of 5 stars works well with Asus EEEPC, February 25, 2008

This review is from: Kingston ValueRAM 1GB 667MHz DDR2 Non-ECC CL5 SODIMM Notebook Memory (Personal Computers)
I bought it for my eeePc. There are two screws on eeePC bottom, close to reset hole. One of that is covered by a sticker, which needs to be removed. I unscrewed the door, and I opened it with some force (there are also two plastic snaps). I removed the old memory widen two springs at the sides of the memory module. It rose at 45 degrees and I unplugget it. I put the new one inserting at 45 degrees and then pushing until the springs fastened it. I closed the door and put the screews. Tuned on the eeePc and it recognized immediately 1 GB of RAM with standard Xandros installation. Now it is faster expecially with heavy application like NetBeans (not installed by default).

It is a really good deal. Enjoy

This product works perfectly, and you can't beat it for its price. It comes in very simple, easy-to-open packaging. Most new notebooks come with two SDRAM slots, so make sure you buy TWO of these in that case. In my case, my Sony VAIO came with two 512 MB cards, so I replaced them with two of these 1 GB cards. It instantly improved my notebook's performance with Windows Vista. Highly recommend it for new Vista purchases with only 1 GB.
