Good form factor - about as small as you can get, handy to use as a 'normal' usb memory stick, or as a card reader since you can swap the microsd out in a second. So far I'm happy with it.

I bought this card specifically because it came with a USB reader. I'm not impressed with the reader at all. It's next to impossible to get the card out of it. Because it's so difficult to remove, I worry that I'm going to end up breaking this tiny, delicate micro card. My thumbnail broke before the card would budge, and I ended up having to remove the string before I could get the card to finally slide out- with great difficulty. The reader also gets burning hot when plugged into the 2.0 USB port.

It *was* super easy to transfer the files from my CPU to the card/reader. Simple drag & drop.

All in all, I think the card will be great, but I'm going to have to replace the reader with something a bit more user friendly. DON'T buy this item for the reader.

It's small enough so I'm not worried about it getting broke when plugged in. My husband carries it everywhere with him. He likes that the card is completely inside and not sticking out like our last reader. He has every song we own on it and still has room, which seems to amaze him :)

Performs well. I have no issues with its read and write speeds. The reason I chose this one is because of its low profile... it's really small! My car radio has a USB port for memory sticks that contain MP3's or other music formats. Having a low profile stick reduces the chance of accidentally hitting it while in the radio. It only sticks out about one-half inch. The all black color was perfect too (blends in). As for compatibility, the radio recognizes it as well as my computers. I've bought other Kingston memory products and had no issues with any of them.

I am impressed by how fast this product got shipped to me! This product works like a charm! Plus it's easy and durable to lug around on a key chain. Great bang for your buck!

I have two of these little sticks and several Micro SD cards that I swap among them and they are great. So far they've been reliable and have functioned just fine. Being able to easily swap out the memory cards is part of what initially drew me to them.

Couple minor issues:

- While its tiny little size is cool and convenient, it can also be a pain; these things are easy to lose, easy to leave inserted in a computer and forgotten (which I have done), and they can occasionally be slightly difficult to insert into a USB port, as you have to be rather careful how you do it.

- Again, because they are so tiny, you have to have some sort of case to hold the stick and any extra memory cards you have for it. The Micro SD cards are about the size of an average fingernail, and this card reader device isn't a whole lot bigger.

Those issues are simply inherent in having such small devices and certainly don't detract from its functionality and usefulness, just stuff to be aware of.

It's great for its micro form factor. Just one thing that gets confusing if you're not used to it yet is the missing upper metal shield that usually comes with USB connections isn't there so you must make sure that you are inserting the contacts correctly. Before I got used to using it I inserted it wrong the first time thinking I got a DOA product. Just make sure to usually insert with the logos facing you as per the USB specification. A little bit odd when you're not used to it, but it's worth it for the small form factor.

I've had mine for just over a year and I love it. I use it nearly every day. I've used the USB adapter with several different MicroSD cards from 2-16Gb in classes 2-6 and it has worked fine with all of them.

Because the connections on the USB adapter are exposed I do not keep it on a keychain but instead in a small plastic carry case originally used to hold a MicroSD card with SD adapter. This also makes it easier to find when it's in my laptop bag.

I recently lost a different USB MicroSD adapter. I'm buying another one of these to replace it.

Some people have mentioned that this adapter gets warm. That's untrue. It's not the adapter that gets warm, it's the MicroSD card that does. Flash memory always generates some amount of heat when files are being written to them. It's just the nature of flash memory. If you only write a small file or two you won't notice the warmth. Copy a large number of files to it, or very large files, and you will. I've used dozens and dozens of flash memory cards over the years and have not seen a single failure related to the heat generated when copying files. My two cents.
