Great buy!,

I crossed my fingers when I purchased this cart because of the mixed reviews. Worse case scenario, I'd just return it. I'm pleased to say that I am quite satisfied with the cart. I find it very sturdy (the bottom shelf holds up to 44 lbs!). In assembling it, I initially put the bottom shelf on upside down (the lip should be toward the floor). This mistake made the cart very unsteady, but as soon as I turned it right side up, everything came together like a glove. It's a handsome piece with lots of storage space. I keep my crock pot, rice cooker, and blender on the bottom shelf to clear counter space. Keeping these 'heavy' items on the bottom shelf and locking the whells also steadies the unit so that it doesn't move when using the sliding adjustable-height top shelf. I'd recommend it. Hope you found this review helpful.

I bought this cart for $65 at a department store. I couldn't believe it when I saw it here for [much less]. Mine doesn't even have the spoon/utensil rack!! Other than that, I'm really happy with this cart. I'm in a small apartment with very little counter space. This is just the right height to go next to my stove and provide workspace.

I bought this cart for extra counter space next to my stove. I love it. I ended up putting my rice cooker and my George Foreman grill on top, they both fit perfectly. I purchased a second one for the Laundry room. If you assemble them right you won't have a problem with them, they are very sturdy. The person that says that you can't move it around because it will fall apart, obviously didn't put it together right. I had moved my all over the Kitchen and had no problem w/ it. It also have a sliding tray that goes in/out for easy access. I also got the pantry one which is great for storaging kitchen towels and other stuff. Both this carts are great and an excellent value at $30.

DON'T LISTEN TO BAD REVIEWS! CART IS GREAT!,
By samantha (Los Angeles) - See all my reviews

After reading all of these reviews, I decided NOT to buy this cart for my 75 year old mother. But, my cousin, who had not read these reviews, saw it in the local Target ad, and went to the store and purchased it for her and set it up at her place last week. Because I had read all of these bad reviews on here, I kept asking him if it was "sturdy" and he thought I was nuts. I arrived at my mother's house to find her brand new white microwave (which looks just like the one in the picture!) atop a very sturdy little cart, looking perfect in the vintage 1920's kitchen I had just redone for her. Thank goodness my cousin hadn't read these online reviews! Oh, one more thing. The description of the cart doesn't mention that the middle shelf pulls out - it does and it works great! Also, a hint for those of you who have had problems with putting it together - the middle shelf gets installed in the "up" position with the wire grid forming a ledge around the outside, while the bottom shelf needs to be installed in the "down" position. If you look closely at the picture, that's how it's put together. Good luck to all!

Can't Beat the Price on this Cart,
By A Customer
This review is from: Chrome Microwave Cart (Kitchen)
We ran out of counterspace and were looking for a microwave cart when we found this one at Target. It was such a good price we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed. We put it together in about 15 minutes. We reversed one of the shelves so that there is a lip to keep things from falling off, but other than that we followed the directions exactly. It is plenty sturdy to hold our average-sized microwave. We are using the bottom rack for cookbooks and the hooks for potholders. The chrome shelves don't appear to be super strong, but they do hold the cookbooks without a problem. We especially like this cart, because it is pretty small and can fit in a tight area of our kitchen. We find it to be well worth what we paid.

Perfect for small spaces!!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Chrome Microwave Cart (Kitchen)
It's a really great cart for those without a lot of space. Took about a half hour to put together. Mine doesn't wobble at all. My microwave just fits on it. The shelves seem sturdy and although they tell you not to exceed the recommended weight for items placed atop the shelves, they don't tell you what that weight is. I didn't use the 4 tiny screws that are supposed to screw into the top of the cart. They were too tiny to hold and I don't see why they are really needed as long as you don't ever lift it up by top it should be ok.

I found this item to be very useful. Although I do not have a microwave sitting on the top shelf, I still find it very sturdy for holding other items. I did not have a problem putting it together even though I am not mechnically inclined.
I like the idea of being able to adjust the shelves to fit whatever size item you put on it. I would recommend this cart to other people for their storage needs.

it is the closest thing I found to what I was looking for. I couldn't find one like it in the stores. I actually bought 2 of them. It could be just a little sturdier, but other than that, it's a great product; I am very pleased with it.

I have this one and the taller but thinner cart, one each on each side of my stove. They look great and have lots of storage racks. These carts are very sturdy and easy to put together. I am ordering extras to use at work as printer stands and one for the bathroom to storage towels and other stuff.I like the fact that the top is made out of wood, overall very good quality.
