Man, I love these guys. Life on a Plate changed my life. When I first learned to skate, my favorite CD to skate to was Life on a Plate. It always got me pumped up like crazy. Pennybridge Pioneers changed my life. This CD was incredible, it really had so much great. Anthems of my life. Anyhow, Home from Home made me very very sad. One of my favorite bands had finally released a CD I was dissappointed in. Guess it was about time, but I was so accustommed to their previous greatness that it was a little shocking. Anyhow, to get to the matter at hand. This CD, from my first listen, is AWESOME. AWESOME. AWESOME. These guys are so freakn great. It was like getting back together with an old friend and talking about the good old times we'd shared. Playing this CD finally gave me some great new tunes to listen to and obsess over this summer. Thank you Millencolin, I should have never doubted you. When everyone turns to screamo, Millencolin expands on their sound while still staying true to their beginngings. Sweden rules, USA could learn much from you!

This cd is a great cd to start listening to milencolin. almost all of the songs on the album are hits in my book. "ray", "stalemate' And "cash or clash" are really great, but the best song would have to be "shut you out". It takes a break from all the loud, fast stuff and shows that millencolin can make great music w/o being to loud. Iwould recommend either this album or "the melancholy collection" to start you off listening to millencolin.

A step up from Home From Home but still missing something,

Well this was one record I was really looking forward to for 2005 besides pennywise's new album. Being the long time Millencolin fan that I am I knew I would automatically purchase it and give the cd a start-to-end listen about a dozen times but did it touch me the way Pennybrige Pioneers or Life On A Plate did? No. And a big no at that. The only reason I've given this a 4 star rating instead of 2 or 3 is because of Biftek Supernova and Simple Twist of Hate, these two songs reminding me of the older, faster and more punk millencolin.
Either way, get this album. Not necissarily the best album they've written but like i said, it's definately worth a listen.
