I don't as a rule enjoy reading about dominates and submissives mostly cause the books I have read the women is the submissive and in my head I keep screaming at her to show some spine and find another guy who doesn't need all this drama. Yes I know I'm missing the point but there you have it.

But I found I enjoyed this book mostly cause I could feel the love the couples had for each other and I like that in the first story of the four the heroine was like me in her attitude and yet she showed while she could be sarcastic about it in her head it was still quite fun to do. My other favorite story was the married couple who re-found the spark to their marriage with out the need to add more people to their relationship I thought that was different enough in erotica it was a nice touch. Plus the sex was quite hot and that always helps, lol.

Over all it was a good book I'm glad I bought it.

Most books on dominance and submission are so over the top that i do not care for them. This has a nice balance of love, romance and the dominance and submission.

Although I've found that I'm not a big fan of anthologies, this book was a definite exception! The characters were well-rounded, and you actually got to know them. The stories themselves were excellent, and the D/s aspects were very tastefully done, nothing over the top, and they make you think that maybe, just maybe, you could give it a try. And I really enjoyed the way the author connected all of the stories together. And the ending...oh my! It brought tears to my eyes.
I highly recommend this book for your reading pleasure!

i really liked this book. it focused on one apartment complex where different couples or individuals and their romantic trysts. I was moved by a couple of the stories especially one focusing on a divorced photographer and her younger model. And a married couple stuck in a sensual rut. You'll enjoy this book and crave more from Ellora's Cave.
