Book Description

October 2004
Since the sexual revolution began forty years ago, morality in America has been in a state of rapid decline. In only four decades, we have gone from a country of traditional family values to a nation of widespread promiscuity, cohabitation, soaring divorce rates, and an explosion of sexual crime committed against women and children. How could things have gone so wrong so fast?

Many experts answer this question with two words: ALFRED KINSEY.

This book will expose:

* How Alfred Kinsey presented as "normal" data he collected from incarcerated sex offenders, criminals, and prostitutes.

* Which of today's popular notions about sex are based on Kinsey's flawed conclusions, such as 10 percent of the population is homosexual and sexual promiscuity is normal.

* That Kinsey engaged in criminal experimentation on children and used "data" he collected from some of the world's most notorious pedophiles to arrive at his conclusions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent overview, January 22, 2008

This book is an excellent overview for the study of Susan Reiseman's book Kinsey, Crimes, and Consequences. It is repetitive in parts, but that can be a good thing.

It is a book that should be read by all taxpayers and educators. One can then better understand how blatant porn and sexual attitude restructuring (SAR) came into the classroom via SIECUS and has been normalized or mainstreamed into the populace.

Rape victims and their advocates, and victims of child sexual abuse really need to know how the Model Penal Code was developed using Kinsey's flawed "scientific" research, thus leaving the abuser free to do it again, and again, and again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good material but not much of a book (more like a tract), November 3, 2005

This book ... well its not really a book, but more like a super-pamphlet - is very shocking. Actually, it is only shocking for those unfamiliar with the "research" of Kinsey. To put it mildly, Kinsey was a perverted, troubled soul who disguised his odd desires as "research." Now I am a researcher, so I know how people can falsify data, selectively report results, and so on and so forth. But the people who had oversight into Kinsey's work should all have been brought up on criminal charges. For example, Kinsey reported on the sexuality of adolescents, citing things like how children could obtain multiple orgasms etc. Didn't anybody ask how he got this data? This research would be considered criminal behavior. I know that the oversight committees at the university where I work would have a heart attack if I presented to them work even resembling Kinsey's in terms of study design, methodology, and scope.

In all, the book is very brief and very repetitive. It opens with 20 important questions on Kinsey and his work. But then the author describes essentially the same thing in the rest of the book, so that you could read the first 20 pages or so and throw out the rest of the book. Many of the sentences are identical between the questions section and the descriptions. That makes for one annoying book.

But the information content is too important to ignore. For those who know nothing about Kinsey, or the work of Dr. Judith Reisman, this is a very brief and informative read, so Id give about 4 stars for that. But if you already know about these topics, this book is a waste of time and Id give it 2 stars. I suggest that you go look at Dr. Reisman's work instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent overview and intended to only be an overview, August 4, 2007

This review is from: The Kinsey Corruption (Paperback)
This book provides an excellent overview of Kinsey, his research and his influence in the past and present. The book is not intended to be deep or exhaustive. If you already have knowledge of Kinsey, this is likely not the book for you. Those that claim the book is shallow and short of documentation should re-read the "Author's note" on page six. Brinkmann states at the outset that if people want greater detail, they should read Dr. Judith Reisman's work "Kinsey: Crimes and Consequences", "in which all quotations and references are thoroughly documented."

To those who think that being religious disqualifies one from speaking clearly and intelligently on sexual issues, I encourage you to look into the teachings of the Catholic Church on sexuality and marriage. Once one clearly understands the Christian view of sexuality and the fundamental Christian beliefs that sexual activity is good, designed by God and should be a total gift of self to one's spouse (instead of a means for self gratification), then one can offer an informed critique of the Christian position. The unfortunate reality is that many people who claim to be Christian do not actually live by the teachings of Christ. Don't be dissuaded by poor representatives of Christianity. Look to those who live their Catholic faith properly (those who actually follow the teachings of Christ) and let that help inform your understanding.
