Indeed this is a cute mini mug... about half the volume of a regular sized mug. I have the squirrel mug and in spite of the unique handle, it is easy to hold and drink from.
Because the exterior is not glazed, this mug is more suited to sipping water, milk or herbal tea instead of stain-prone drinks like coffee. However, it is so delightful that it makes me smile whenever I drink from it. The design and finish is also quite attractive.
PROS:
- A "whimsical" mug that will delight animals lovers
- Makes drinking more fun
- Very nice quality
CONS:
- If you're looking for a full-sized mug, then this will seem too tiny
- Non-glazed exterior more likely to stain over time, but if you stick to water or non-staining drinks, then it'll be fine.
CONCLUSION:
- In spite of the limitations cited above, I think this is a great mini mug. If you are looking for a standard sized coffee mug, then you might want to look elsewhere.

We were looking for these when we accidently broke one of the two we had. Finding these was a pure delight, but we admittedly almost past this up as we have had some issues with some of the providers on AMazon with slow deliveries, or poorly packed items.
These arrived quickly, well packed and were in New condistion as stated. Five Stars, it just does not get better than a transaction like ths one!

Not the definition of mug I'm used to...

Very small mug
I thought this would be a full size coffee mug but it is smaller. Very sturdy and good quality but probably meant for display, not using.
