My son and I love all the Kipper books, but this is anespecially nice one that led him to develop his own signs for rain andhail. Great as a "rainy day" or "snowy day" book when you can't go outside to play.

the Kipper books are all great and we especially love the little board book series (counting/numbers, colors, weather, opposites). For under age three I think you can't go wrong with these. If you are also doing early reading skills- these books are AWESOME. Calming but fun, colorful but clear, the illustrations are enjoyable for child and parent. Each page has one easy to read word on it. These are excellent first reading books.
This ones opens up communication about types of weather your child might not even now about yet (includes fog, hail), so they feel comfortable when they do experience it. Ends with a rainbow so you can practice colors too. |
