It is amazing how well this stuff cleans floors - we've lived in our house for 6 years with 4 active children. I attempt to clean at least every 6 months (though I aim for every 3-4) but the carpets are still in decent shape thanks to Kirby! Well worth the cost, and much easier (and cheaper) to order the shampoo online.

We moved into a forclosed home with beautiful cream colored carpet. However when we moved in there were grease stains everywhere. We were thinking of replacing all our carpet! Well,someone from Kirby came over and did a home demo. We bought one right on the spot. Going over my floor one time and not taking much time and the spots are unnoticable to anyone who hadn't been here before. Going over it one more time get's totally rid of it.

This was GREASE! We used everything before this. Rug doctor shampoo, and prespray, vinegar, washing soda, etc... Nothing worked until this. We are very happy and LOVE our new Kirby!

Several months ago, after an all-afternoon tussle with a door-to-door Kirby salesman, I managed to avoid buying a complete and new vacuum system, and instead bought from him a used previous generation Kirby to use only for carpet shampooing. I've been pleased with the vac, and I've also found that Kirby's Allergen shampoo is great stuff!

We have cats. One of them is old and has a hard time finding her litter box. She prefers a short section of carpeted hallway - for convenience, I guess, but for us, it stinks. Murdering her (aka "putting her down") just isn't an option. Love gets in the way.

This shampoo is great at all carpet cleaning, and to our relief, it's also excellent at removing urine smell. That effect is only good until she decides to use the carpet again, but my shampooer is all set up and ready for action, and every time we've had a nose-full, or we have friends on their way here, I just pour in water with Kirby's shampoo, clean away, and the problem is solved.

A gallon, by the way, gives a LOT of shampoo sessions, and the scent is pleasant, almost undetectable, and quickly dissipates.

This is a quick dry foam concentrate that removes stains as quickly as it dries... less than 10 minutes! I was amazed how quickly old and recent stains disappear. I highly recommend it!

This is the second time I have ordered these products. I had no problems on my first order but this time, I did not get the white bags that I got the first time. I got the old fashioned brown bags that do not even fit my Sentria vacuum. I order this trio because it guarantees that I get the lavender scented carpet shampoo. I love the combination in this order and I'm about to order it for the third time, hoping I get the right bags.

I was amazed at how well this product works. I own 2 dogs and somehow my Kirby Sentria stays on top of all the pet hair and dirt that gets tracked in! It was an expensive purchase, but well worth it. Recently, I shampooed my carpets after almost an entire year of neglect. I was amazed at how much dirt and grime came out, but was still skeptical because it had been so long since I have shampooed. I grabbed a white towel and blotted the carpet to see how much excess dirt remained on the carpet. To my amazement the towel stayed white, no excess dirt or grime. I kept using my towel over the entire carpet... I thought for sure SOMEWHERE there would be dirt. After about 20 minutes, I gave up... The Kirby shampoo did the trick!!

I have a Kirby vacuum with the shampooer attachment and don't have Kirby store in the area so I ordered this shampoo online. I got it very quickly and loved the fact that it was free shipping. It was about the same price as what they sell for in the stores except no tax and it got sent straight to me. I would recommend this shampoo and this company to anyone.

We have berber carpet which is not easy to clean. We have had it done professionally several times and this shampoo did just as good a job if not better!

A great product that is not only the best carpet shampoo I've used, it also helped clean up some dirt that I could not remove from my Durapella furniture.

PROS: I am very happy with my purchase. I appreciate the 1 gallon size which saves TONS of money over those little bottles. (Keep 1 little bottle so you can make refilling cap fulls a breeze by keeping them full from the large bottle). I also appreciate how this product has a light scent. I was worried that it might stink like some shampoos, but it is very mild. I would describe the fragrance as a "light clean smell". We diluted this shampoo for use on our tile and are very happy with the results. We can use our shampooer to scrub the tile clean and then I use a shopvac to suck up the water. Of course this shampoo works great on our carpet too. I wouldn't bother telling you the other things about it if I had any problems with it.

CONS: Price. I suppose it could be a little cheaper, but I'm happy with it. 1 Gallon should last me a looong time.
