I was making a homemade dry foam for a while that I thought worked great but this works so much better it gets all the stains out and smells ok.

Great Amazon price - Price half of local retailer. Used with my Kirby G2001 to shampoo my carpets. Carpets looks great again. I prefer this dry shampoo versus steam. It's easier and dries faster.

I cleaned my carpet and barely had enough to finish. So depending on how much carpet you need to clean, it would be a good idea to buy two bottles. It had been some time since I used the carpet shampooer on my Kirby, but I found that this time it did not sud compared to the bottle I got when I first got the vacuum. I don't know if it was the shampooer or the soap, but I didn't feel as though my carpet was cleaned. The Kirby vacuum is a good product, trust me when I look in the bag it's amazing how much dust is picked up, but the shampoo system is not the best. With that said I can say that the shampoo partially cleaned my carpet in my opinion.

I purchased a vintage carpet shampooer. It is not an extractor model but uses two spinning rotor brushes and therefore needs a dry foam shampoo. Unfortunately, the brand that makes my shampooer is not longer around. A friend recommended trying Kirby brand since it is a dry foam shampoo. I was a bit skeptical as I have never been a fan of Kirby vacuums, but I was very impressed with the way this shampoo worked in my machine. It produced a good amount of foam and did not leave a strong chemical smell like some of the extractor machine formulas can. My white carpet hadn't been cleaned in several years and we have cats, so I really had a good chance to test this stuff out. 99% percent of the stains came out (even old ones) and the smell was alleviated. I strong recommend this shampoo with any dry foam carpet scrubber.

If you are using a Kirby vacuum and shampooer, then you already know the performance that it delivers and this allergen shampoo is a must for any home. If you are thinking about purchasing this shampoo for another brand shampooer, I think you will still find the smell refreshing and the results satisfying.

I have been ordering this same product from Kirby and paying double the price! I had to wait a little longer but the price was worth wait!

This is a great product that is worth every cent~ It cuts thru the greasy soil, leaving a nice lavender scent that is nice. I have been working with this product for over 25 years, i here unto afix my approval ... jon cook THANK YOU SCOT LABS~!

It was nice to find this on here since we do not have any Kirby dealers in out area..It works great.

We just got the Kirby Sentria about six weeks ago and so far the carpet shampooer is the feature I have used the most. This shampoo works much better than Resolve, smells a lot better, and dries faster. It got out cat vomit and various food stains, but the real test came when the carpet got five blood stains that ranged from the size of golf balls to the size of tennis balls. I had to go over the stains more than once. The first go-over actually lightened them significantly, then I waited for it to dry and pre-treated the carpet with peroxide (it didn't hurt the color of our dark-teal carpet, so I suggest this for blood stains) and went over it again after it stopped fizzing. The stains are still very faintly visible to me, but I think that's because I know they're there.

My main complaint about this is that you have to use quite a bit of shampoo per tank fill. I can see the bottle going very quickly at a house with small children or a lot of pets.

This shampoo works very well to get rid of normal dirt to provide the carpet with a clean look. We have used it with success on small grass stains, dog accidents, and blood spots from a bloody nose.

The only stain this has not worked on is Raising Cane's Sauce from when the dog dragged the little cup of sauce onto the floor and it landed with the open side down. In fact, the stain has gotten darker and more noticeable as time passes. I thought I read somewhere the shampoo crystals will bind to the dirt in the carpet and get pulled away with each vaccum and if so, this could be one reason why it's gotten darker.

I have only used it on my light colored carpet so I can't speak to how well it does on upholstered furniture.
