The game is set for a February 20th, 2015 release date. It features 4 player co-op, and will retail for only $39.99. The game features Amiibo support. More information will be available directly from Nintendo.

You need the game pad for single player, and that's it for single player. For multiplayer, you'll need a television or something and either a pro controller, wiimote, or other compatible wii u controllers.

None. Club Nintendo is shutting down, and any titles released after a certain date (that has passed a long time ago) do not qualify.

Yes, and you need the touch screen all the time. But multiplayer will require to use the tv screen.

It is very simplistic and very cute game about drawing a line to guide Kirby. It does get a little challenging if you are trying to get all the collectible, very suitable for a 8 year old.

Absolutely. The amiibo are just used for different ways to play the levels. You can play the whole game without any amiibo. That's what I did, since I don't even have any of the Kirby amiibo.

As with many Nintendo games, it is easy to play, but tough to master. If you are just looking to play through and get to the end of each level, it's fairly easy (though some of the later boss fights might prove challenging depending on your skill level). But if you want to earn a 100% completion and get gold medals on all the challenge levels, it gets pretty tough.
