I have purchased these through Costco and found they were very helpful, but did not cause other problems like gas like some of the mix in liquid products.

I am typically a healthy eater. I always have a vegetable and fruit at lunch, at Clif bars (which are full in fiber) if I am hungry, stay away from fried food.. you get the picture. I have never been seriously irregular; the longest I've gone without "going" is 3 days.. (Sorry if this is TMI, just giving my review :).)

I take these whenever I feel bloated, or something just isnt sitting right. I have tried laxatives, which are SERIOUSLY harsh on my stomach.. sometimes so harsh I would sit in pure agony from the cramping. I have also tried normal fiber tablets (Fiber Choice Fiber Supplement, Sugar-Free Assorted Berry plus Calcium + D, 90-Count Chewable Tablets) but DESPISE the taste. This was the first product that was easy on the tummy, and was in pill form that I actually have amazing results from.

Normally if I take one, the next day (I'd say roughly 12 hours) I will go... and not to give you TMI again, but just trying to help, it's not loose, it's a normal stool. (Loose stools are not a good sign.)

The only problem I have is the pill itself. They smell funny to me, and are quite big. (It even says make sure you have adequate water to swallow, or else they get trapped in your throat and expand and could choke you.. yowza...) Because of this I make sure I take it with AT LEAST a half of bottle of water.

Hey, I made a mistake. I needed a new fiber supplement and bought this without reading the fine print. This is a laxative. This is something you take because you haven't gone number two in a long time. I wanted a fiber supplement. I took two in the morning and spent most of the night running to the bathroom. My wife saw them and laughed at me saying, "What did you expect, it says laxative on the label?" Well, it does in some fine print. What I saw was "FIBER" and "360 capsules." My brain reasoned that if there were 360 of these, then it was a daily supplement. Why in the world would anyone need a container that held more than 10 of these little intestinal A-bombs? That's like a year supply, but 360?

If you need an intestinal A-bomb, this is it. If you need a supplement, keep walking, brother. This is powerful stuff. And given the stated shelf life, expect to throw away the bottle with at least 300 pills still in it. Maybe this is for hospitals? Maybe for nursing homes? Just know what you are getting. 3 stars because it is apparently very good at what it says it will do, but I'm taking two stars off for pain and suffering, and for putting 360 of these in a bottle without requiring a medical license.
