I miss Victoria Holt so much! I re read her books over and over and can't find another like her - impossible. My first reading of Kirkland Revels was the condensed version in Reader's Digest. So glad I bought the version as written by my girl! I hate to admit it, but the condensed version made it easy to figure out the character with malicious intent. Not so with books read the way she meant them to be.
