These are the best trash bags that we've ever used. No more having to double bag the trash lest it rip through the bag. These bags are REALLY HEAVY plastic. And, the 42 gal. size is handy. We use our own custom length twist ties though, not the ones that come with these bags. The bags are so thick that we find that a longer twist tie works better. We buy spools of green, plastic-coated wire with a self-cutter to use as twist ties.

A professional organizer and declutterer put me on to these. They hold a lot of trash, but they are also wonderful for holding donations of clothes, bedding and other soft items.

I really like these bags. We purchased them when we did a big move and needed to throw out a ton of things. They are strong and hold well. If you are doing some heavy duty spring cleaning - I would definitely recommend the bags. However, this was one of the few times when something took forever to ship that I ordered from Amazon. I ordered them in hopes of not having to run to the store while trying to pack/unpack, but I ended up going to the store and seeing them on the shelf while I waited for them to arrive. I didn't want to pay twice (as I paid for shipping) and knew I wouldn't need an extra box. So, definitely buy them for big clean up jobs - when you see them on the shelf!
