I have been using Kirkland Calcium Citrate with Vitamin D, K, Magnesium and Zinc for several years. It is a large pill but seems to go down easy. There are no after effects. I like them because I am receiving the quantity of Calcium, vitamin D, K Magnesium and Zinc when I take two pills one in the morning and one in the evening. My doctor says that it is a good suppliment.

Two tablets have only 500 mg.
Amazon MUST ask all supplement providors to show units or miligrams within every pill, tablet, capsules, etc. or an image with table of contents.

This is the calcium which my doctor recommended I take every day. The price is great, and the shape is oblong, which makes it easy to swallow.

This is the second time ordering Calcium Citrate and I will continue to do so! I have an allergy to milk and dairy products and the provides a great source of vitamin D. I strongly recommend this product!

This is USP approved and citrate which are excellent but unfortunately contains many other junk. I consumed this for some time and stopped since there was no difference in my calcium and furthermore I was not interested in the included additional junk. Now Foods is the only one with a GMP stamp and selling pure calcium citrate Calcium Citrate 100% Pure Powder 8 Ounces without any additives. Calcium comes in many forms but most research has been done on calcium carbonate which does not absorb well and it is in a much more concentrate form than calcium citrate which costs more. Carbonate is better if consumed with food and iron blocks absorption of calcium. Citrate is easier to absorb but since it is not as concentrate it cost more. I do not consume much supplements since it is an unregulated industry. Calcium citrate is sold with many other minerals like zinc, B6, magnesium, etc. which in supplement forms are unnecessary and can be are very dangerous, unhealthy and not necessary for body since according to many research from Europe those additional minerals in supplemental forms interfere with the human body system. The powder is a pure calcium, without any additives and I consume calcium without anything within two hours before or after any food. The level of vitamin D3 in the body needs to be reasonable since it helps absorption. I have not had any problem with vitamin D3 from Costco so far, although it has some junk in it Kirkland Signature Maximum Strength Vitamin D3 2000 I.U. 600 Softgels, Bottle. Anything over 2000 units of D3 is not healthy and human body can not consume more than 500 units of calcium at a time so all the ones like 600 units are gimmicks to sell the product.

This is the first time I tried this brand of calcium. I chose it because it was cheap....you get what you pay for. I took it twice with the rest of my supplements and I threw up both times. Can't take them any more. What a waste!
