This is the exact same stuff as Colace and you will save a bucketload of money if you use these frequently and don't mind an off-brand. There are many medications I buy generically, and this is one if them.

This does exactly what it is intended to do. Soften things and and prevent the stress and strain of a hard or dry stool. Embarrassing topic? Not really, just a fact of life.

If you take medicines such as narcotics or anti-depressants, your Doc might recommend Colace. This version works just as well and provides a good value.

I purchased the two pack of kirkland stool softener, because the price is fantastic and its a brand which I had purchased before and worked well. This last pack, both bottles, the open one and the previously unopen one, all the pills were stuck together. They were like a brick. Not sure what happened and hope they are safe to take, the ones we can pry apart that is. Not sure if other brands would do this. Just a heads up.

They are stool softeners- and they do soften my stool. The price was much more reasonable than the drug store or super market. They don't expire until sometime in 2013 so there's plenty of time to use them.
