Sometimes you need these .... they work as good as Colace,

This is the exact same stuff as Colace and you will save a bucketload of money if you use these frequently and don't mind an off-brand. There are many medications I buy generically, and this is one if them.
This does exactly what it is intended to do. Soften things and and prevent the stress and strain of a hard or dry stool. Embarrassing topic? Not really, just a fact of life. If you take medicines such as narcotics or anti-depressants, your Doc might recommend Colace. This version works just as well and provides a good value.

I purchased the two pack of kirkland stool softener, because the price is fantastic and its a brand which I had purchased before and worked well. This last pack, both bottles, the open one and the previously unopen one, all the pills were stuck together. They were like a brick. Not sure what happened and hope they are safe to take, the ones we can pry apart that is. Not sure if other brands would do this. Just a heads up.

They are stool softeners- and they do soften my stool. The price was much more reasonable than the drug store or super market. They don't expire until sometime in 2013 so there's plenty of time to use them.

Purchased this for my elderly parent, a year's supply for $10 is excellent buy. Arrived on time and well packaged. Generic product works just as well as proprietary for a fraction of the cost. In my experience the Kirkland label is quite reputable.

A bargain price on a good product. Received in plastic sealed boxes that have tamper seal in place on caps.

Kirkland Signature Stool Softener Docusate Sodium 100 mg,
As you get older your system slows down too but if you take a stool softener each day hopefully you'll stay regular and feel good! This brand works just as good as the name brand "Colace" and cost considerably less.

Here's the deal. The brand name is outrageously expensive EVERYWHERE. These are the very same medication for a LOT less. If you take medication, or have the 'roids', and your doctor said get some of the brand name stuff- these are fine. Same stuff....less moola. So, happy evacuating :D

I bought this due to having back surgery and taking opiates that of course cause constipation. I knew one small bottle in the drug store was not going to cut it. When I first started taking pain pills I was so badly constiapted I was taking 6 of these pills a day. So I shopped around for a better bargain. This is great. Still taking daily but not as many and it works well. No cramps, stomach upset and the bottles have a lenghty expiration date---2013. SO you donlt have to worry about the pills not getting used right away. Quite a bargain. I bought the same brand of expectorant too.

Anybody who truly enjoys soft stools will be delighted with Kirkland stool softener. This product does not relate to the kind of stools found at bars and counters. Anyone looking for a soft bar stool should think in terms of a cushion rather than a pill.
