Kirkland Signature Mature Multi Vitamins & Minerals with Lycopene and Lutein 400 Tablets

I like the "completeness" of these. They have a good % of the RDA of the many vitamins & minerals that they provide. Value priced, too! And they don't taste bad when I crush or chew them (although they are not "chewables".) The quantity of 400 means that I won't have to be constantly reordering.

I've been using Kirkland Signature Multi-Vitamins and Minerals for a number of years now. I've always been very satisfied with the products, even though it's a hard thing for an individual to test on any kind of scientific basis. I use them because my diet might not cover all essential ingredients and the vitamin/mineral tablet is a cheap insurance policy in that regard. Plus, Consumer Reports always has the Kirkland Signature brand ranked very high among those available and the cost is among the lowest. The tablets are a little large for swallowing, but I just break them in half with my fingers and the halves are no problem.

Well, it was time to replace the multi-vitamin supply and this time I picked up the Mature Multi. I don't know that it will make much difference but I'm now 74 and definitely qualify for being a senior. Getting the Mature formulation makes sense.

Most people take a multi vitamin these days, even if they take nothing else. But even when choosing a multi it can sometimes be confusing since the ingredient list can be so long, and the amounts of each vitamin and mineral can vary sometimes quite a bit. This big bottle of Kirkland's signature is just about as complete as you can get, at a truly great price. I have no doubt that there are other multi vitamins out there that have a little more of something in them here and there. But you will have to look close and pay a lot more money for sure. This is a very complete regimen all in one, and the very best multi at the price in my opinion. One thing that this does include in it is Lycopene. An important supplement for older men that is good for both prostrate health, as well as recommended in a good blood pressure program. I take one of these every day, and highly recommended them for your multi vitamin as well...

No problems....good product. Was taking Centrum before and made the switch over to the generic stuff. Pleased thus far.

My parents gave me this huge jug of pills so i didn't have to pay for it. With all vitamins you can't really tell if they're working unless you the FDA will do a study to prove this (which they will never do because of funding for pharmacuticals). So since im taking these vitamins for mature 50+ they have more % daily value so better for the money, and the price looks cheaper from other products out there. These pills are pretty hard to swallow, but if you fill your mouth up completly with a glass of water before you try to swallow it makes it easier. And since its one pill a day... this bottle should last me hmmmm... 400 DAYS!!!! if thats not a sole reason to buy it, then i don't know what is.

P.S. I lost 100 lbs by dieting, working out, and doing my research on health products. This is especially good for someone dieting and cutting down on calories. You will need the extra vitamins to make up for the lack of vitamins your body isn't recieving from food. Also east plenty of fruits that are lower on sugar, apples, bananas, strawberries (which are extremely high in vitamin C, and good for people that can't eat oranges because of the acidity), Oranges, Blueberries.

I've always purchased these vitamins directly from Costco but it's great to know I can buy them online now.

Hard to believe you can get anything for four cents a day these days! Let alone something that's actually good for you. They go down easy with just a little water, at least they do for me, and they're also scored to be split in two for those wary of their size. But here's the caution: Many mature people as they get older have problems with swallowing, particularly biggish pills. I've noticed complaints about that as regards this product in some reviews here. And that's not something to be taken lightly. The pneumonia that killed my elderly mother was caused by aspiration (a bit of food "went down the wrong way" and got into her lungs). So, if swallowing difficulties are at all an issue with you or the elderly parent you're considering buying these for, then you'll doubtless want to look elsewhere. Everyone else over 50 should consider this a best buy (as did Consumer Reports, which is how I came upon it).

I have been taking this product for many years. It pretty much has most of the essential vitamins, but lacks enough "C" So you should take about a 1000 more "C" a day.

Since I've been taking these vitamins I have been in tip-top shape thanks in large part to its combinations and blends. I also appreciate the price per dose being so low.
