A student from KY,
By Andrew, musical theatre fanatic (Louisville, KY, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kismet (Paperback)
I am a student at the Youth Performing Arts School, and this year's Fall Musical is KISMET. I recommend this book because the music is wonderful, and the score is accurate. It includes all songs and music needed. I am in the CHORUS and a MUEZZIN and have found this score tremendously helpful during rehearsals. If you are buying the book for a show, or just want the music, and recommend this score for you.

Pivital work of American Musical Theatre,
By A Customer
This review is from: Kismet (Paperback)
KISMET is a hilarious and romantic spoof of the old style operettas set in ancient Baghdad. This musical Arabian night includes the hit song "Stranger in Paradise" along with many Musical theater standards like "And this is My Beloved," "Not Since Ninevah," and "The Olive Tree" to name a few. If you enjoy Opera, Gilbert and Sullivan, or Musicals you will love this score. Enjoy!

Revised Kismet,
By Nelson Fyffe (Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kismet (Paperback)
Fans of Kismet should be aware that this score is of the 1985 revision; 'He's in Love' is dropped along with much dance music and many other changes.
