Overview
Ballet instructor Casey Richardson takes an immediate dislike to the wealthy, arrogant Drew Byrne when he pulls his nine-year-old son out of her "silly" dance class. Still, she cannot help noticing his smoking hot body and bedroom eyes.

The last thing she needs is for him to be the only one who can prevent the disaster of losing her dance academy, the dream she has worked so hard to turn into a reality. Can she save her school without losing her heart?

Remarrying is definitely off Drew's list of things to do. He has no problem keeping it a game with some of the world's most beautiful women. So why should his son's challenging, straight talking dance teacher get under his skin in a way no other female has?

He tells himself it is because Casey is the only one able to bring his shy, uncommunicative son out of his shell. Or is it because Drew has finally met his match?

"I couldn't put it down. I'm waiting for more from the talented duo that penned this great book." --Storm Goddess Reviews

"I thoroughly enjoyed Kiss Me, Dancer . . . Casey and Drew are complete opposites who fight their romance for so long, but the chemistry between the two sizzles between the pages."--Chick Lit Plus

5.0 out of 5 stars Great at 10X the price November 15, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Honestly, I bought this book because of the price. I thought if I didn't like it, at 99 cents, I'd just forget about it. What a great surprise! The writing is sharp, fast and funny. The characters are instantly entertaining and the situations are believable and make you want to turn the page to find out what happens next. The Street's have an eye for detail and a wonderful shared sense of humor. Kiss Me Dancer is a terrific read and I'm already waiting for the next book in the series. Alicia and Roy, you've got a fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars Giggles, gasps, and anxious page-turning April 28, 2012
By Lisa
Format:Kindle Edition
Kiss Me, Dancer is the story of Casey, a dance instructor that lives her life often overlooked, both in her family and in her personal life, and Drew, a wealthy, egotistical, over-the-top womanizer who hates to fail, loves to win, and doesn't care who he steps on to get there. Casey spends her life doing for others, never believing anything good will ever come to her (either because she will fail or because she doesn't believe she deserves anything good to begin with.) and Drew has had his entire life planned for him by his father from day one. Complete opposites that find themselves in a sizzling love affair that they both try to fight from the very beginning.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The characters are very creative and well developed. I especially loved Drew's son, Josh, who's a very shy hip-hop dancer in Casey's class, who little by little is learning to come out of his shell. This story has the perfect amount of giggles, gasps, and anxious page-turning to keep the reader interested. I was particularly on the edge of my seat during the psychic reading parts - is she going to tell Drew it's her? Will he ever speak to her again if she does?

I do have to admit though that I didn't much care for the cover, and at first glance wasn't too sure that this book was for me. I tend to be more of a "Cover Girl" and I find myself judging books by their covers. But I'm so happy I gave this one a chance because I was definitely pleasantly surprised! I would strongly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys chick lit and is looking for their next good read.

4.0 out of 5 stars Delightful Story December 30, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Kiss Me Dancer surprised me. I expected a typical romance, and instead was treated to a true-to-life relationship touched with the humor and angst that every couple goes through as they find their way with each other. The Streets did a fantastic job with the hero's son. It isn't always easy to blend children into a romance, but Joey acts like a real kid as he jumps off the page and grabs your heart. Nicely done!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun, Sexy, and Yes, Inspiring! January 2, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Casey, a former professional dancer, lives in the shadow of her prima ballerina sister. She struggles to make ends meet at her small-town dance studio. Drew, a wealthy captain of industry, has a bad case of ego and a worse relationship with his son. When the two meet, sparks fly. But more than that. They forge a rocky, passionate relationship that transforms both and underlines the importance of following your dreams. A sexy and heart-warming read filled with memorable characters. (It looks like one of my favorites, Casey's nature-loving brother Parker, will be featured in a sequel!)

4.0 out of 5 stars Ballet dancers? February 5, 2012
By Ivy
Format:Kindle Edition
Casey Richardson and Drew Byrne go toe-toe when Drew literally pulls his son, Josh, out of Casey's ballet class. None of this "namby pamby prancing in tights" business for his son; what was his ex, Heather, thinking? Apparently she wasn't. As usual, the variable Drew forgets to consider is Josh.
Casey has a lot on her mind. A letter she's received in the mail has put her dance studio, home, and dream in jeopardy. Once again Casey feels she's fallen short, so why, with all she has on her mind, did Drew Byrne make such an impact on her? Casey knows all about rich guys and what a mistake that would be.

Drew's attempts to connect with his son, deal with his domineering father, and understand the conflicting emotions stirred up by Casey belie the rich playboy reputation, though it's well deserved. Having been burned once he's convinced that marriage isn't for him but now he's a mass of confusion and awkwardness. That doesn't set well with Drew. The person he confides in and turns to for advice is surprising.

Casey may not have realized her dream of becoming a prima ballerina but she has realized another dream. She's sunk everything she had into creating North Cove Dance studio and with the help of Parker, her brother, the dream is now reality. Unfortunately her landlord is selling her building putting Casey's livelihood and home at risk.

For me, KISS ME, DANCER, read as more than your common garden variety contemporary. A large part of the appeal is the genuineness and sense of immediacy created by the characters and setting. I felt I could go to North Cove and find Natalie and her eatery, Casey's beleaguered North Cove Dance studio, along with all the places and people mentioned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent! December 21, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I loved this book. It is a really warm, compelling story that pulled me in completely. Casey is an endearing, feisty woman who's had her share of letdowns. The sexual tension between her and the hero is good, well timed and kept me reading.
Drew is a macho womanizer, but his problems with his son show he has a soft spot that just needs tweaking from the right person. The transformation is a dramatic ride where both characters go through a battle of wills that results in big changes.
Very well written. I also liked the sporadic doses of humor laced throughout the book. And the character of Casey's brother.
