Fun Stuff!,
By Laurel Fishman (West Hollywood, Calif.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kiss of Desire : A Guide to Oral Sex for Men and Women (Paperback)
Kiss of Desire is a playful guide to techniques of oral pleasure, a comfortable exploration for both men and women. Simple and specific, the book gives easy details on how to nibble, breathe, kiss and otherwise use the mouth to give enjoyment. Kiss of Desire is completely nonthreatening, and the vivid, stimulating illustrations and fantasy photos provide '"how-tos" while also firing the erotic imagination. The book is fun reading, or great for just thumbing through to look at the pictures. It's full of info and turn-ons, including a delicious recipe for a sex shake. Stubbs' lighthearted style is in itself liberating, and even accomplished lovers can pick up a tip or two.

I really like this book - it invites you into, and to recreate a space of sexuality and sensuality filled with warmth and humor and true connection. I have read a few books by this author, and this is one of my favorites. Wonderful suggestions for techniques, and even physical exercises and recipes to enhance the experience! I will always keep this in my library- next to the bed.

Expand Your Horizons,

This review is from: Kiss of Desire : A Guide to Oral Sex for Men and Women (Paperback)
Kenneth Ray Stubbs does not write the usual how-to sex book. But then, there are more than enough of those on the market. What he offers is infinitely more expansive - sensuous illustrations, poetic text, a refreshingly multi-cultural perspective, and most significantly, erotic context. If you want to gawk at body parts and learn to be efficient in your technique, look elsewhere. But if you want to play passionately and imaginatively, you are in for a treat.

Not worth your time,

Don't bother with this book of fluff and bad illustrations. Nothing new, insightful or even remotely helpful. You'll learn a lot more by picking up a copy of Cosmo.

All the things the author talks about have been talked about in GOBS of other books and isn't an inciteful book for it's time. Wasn't worth the money.
