this is a great album, definitly 1 to buy if your new to the masked rockers known as kiss. the album ranges from their early material right through their career - some bands tend to neglect certain eras when making a greatest hits. their are some classic tracks here aswell; god of thunder, strutter, deuce, rock and roll... and god gave rock and roll two you, to name but a few. if you want the best of a legendary band then i suggest that you invest in this album - you wont be disapointed. however some may find this album lacks in terms heaviness, their are also some ballad type songs - these tend to be the weak areas in this compilations, other than that its a perfect album and an air guitarists dream, enjoy.

if you know about this band, then you know what you are getting. they are a better than average rock band, w/an excelent fireworks display and theatrics blended in w/the music to provide great live shows. the albums they put out as well and this type (a greatest hits version), you can really imagine being at any/all of their concerts. they never short cut the music, and you can tell that when you hear it. and they keep playing for the simple fact of the fans just loving them and return KISS loves the fans. it is because ofthat mutual respect why KISS always gives their best! you will always get your money's worth w/them...

This album is really worthless unless you just HAVE to have an album with pics of the 1996 reunion tour on it. This album is merely a alternate version of GREATEST KISS which was issued some months earlier. The only difference is the inclusion of some of their 1980's songs... but the print is full of type o's. This CD has been listed for years as an extreme rarity but I see it here, on eBay and record stores all the time. This is only for the die hard who has to have it all.

You may love KISS or you may hate KISS... But one thing's for sure and that is you have owned KISS in one shape or form...

You wanted the best,you got it! This album contains so many klasiics by kiss I do not no where to start!I like the adding of the 80's hits,because Lick it up and Crazy Crazy nites ROCK.All the songs rock my soul.Ranging from disco-Sure know something,I was made for loving you,Heavyness-God of Thunder,Detreoit rock city,soft rock-Strutter,and ballads like Beth.Not to forget the cool-strangeness of calling dr. love ,and the klassicness of rock n' roll all nite.The cool plaster caster(that song is stuck in my mind)And the really cool Hotter than Hell!(im really glad that they included this GEM) If you are knew to kiss then think of them this way,ythey have some heavy stuff(a few very heavy stuff),Love Ballads( a whole bunch of these) and fun-not to heavy rock n' roll(most Kiss songs go into this category)Soft rock(common also) They have lots of anthems that make you want to shout.All the songs rock.Picking my top favs. from this album include-Hotter than hell,Crazy Crazy nites,lick it up,I was made for loving you,plaster caster,Hard luck woman,black Diamond,and God gave rock n' roll to you.You should Definetly purchase this album.(note to new fans:kiss is Klassic hard rock,not unlikabe stuff like todays metal.Kiss is not nearly llame noise like a lot of dumb modern music.Kiss is klassic-so kiss is essential for a klassic rock fan.

I do not own this album,but judging from that fine lookin'tracklist that it contains,This is a VErY GOOD album and is a excellent album.It is better than the album ''Greatest kiss''for a variety of reasons,including that this album has BETTer songs including hits from the 80's.This album has cool cover art also. This contains most of kiss' Best hits(Kiss has too many hits,but these are the most importand)I think that this album shouldn't only be an imported album-I think that it should of been rleased in the U.S.A too.
