5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Vampire Novels I Have Ever Read, November 7, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: The Kiss (Paperback)
While fleeing Nazis in prewar Berlin, two Americans (Richard Anderson and Rebecca Bittan) are invited to seek refuge in a Romanian castle owned by Countess Maria Viroslav and her husband, Count Alexander Viroslav. (The latter two are vampires.) Neither Richard nor Rebecca are ready for what will come next: a fierce double play of seduction to create two more vampires. And the count and countess certainly have no limits to how far they will go sexually. Homophobics beware.

I read "The Kiss" way back in high school ('96 or '97), and it's still one of my absolute favorites. If you like vampires, sex, and the 1930s, then I highly recommend you read this book. You won't be disappointed. Another good vampire book is "Dark Dance" by Tanith Lee, the first in its series, followed by two others: "Personal Darkness" and "Darkness, I".

4.0 out of 5 stars "Pure sex, pure erotica.", July 18, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: The Kiss (Paperback)
"If you love sex, this is a book you don't want

to miss! Pure sex, not one page goes by without

sexual acts or innuendos. I read this book in a

a day. Fast light read. Lesbianism, homosexuality

it's all here! More of a fantasy story, rather than

horror. Get's the juices flowing!"
