I'm a marketer's dream, really--the first time I saw Kiss My Face - Pure Olive Oil Soap, 8 oz bars at my health food store I laughed out loud and bought a bar for the sake of the entertaining name and the chemical-free composition. It turned out to be a great soap for days when my skin needs to kick up the moisture.

This shower and bath gel, though, was a gift, and a joke gift at that. It's called Kiss My Face Early to Bed Moisture Bath & Shower Gel (16 fl oz.), and the joke is that I'm known for staying up much too late. And what a dreamy gel it is! The soothing botanical scent lingers just a little, just enough. The bottle claims to contain clove, chamomile, neroli, lavender, ylang ylang and jasmine. I can't pick out all the separate botanical aromas but the overall impression is of lavender and other sleepytime things.

This gel makes a very slick lather that rinses away completely, leaving a pleasant moisturizing effect. Of course the company makes no promises that you'll go to bed early, but this is a VERY soothing shower gel. There are other formulas in the line and maybe next time I'll try Early to Rise.

It's good to know that I'm using an all-natural product from a company that values the environment--and has a sense of humor. (* Subject line is from the Kiss My Face mission statement.)

light enough so you don't smell like a deadhead all day, but provides a very sudsy, relaxing bath. great product!

I love this shower gel... It makes me feel awake and energized! I would greatly recommend it to those of us who have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning!!! Try this the next time you "Rise and Shine."

My kids smell wonderful for days when we use this bath gel. I love this gentle scent so much that I do my all purpose cleaning with it. The whole house smells of patchouli.

I like patchouli but it can be overwhelming as an oil. This body wash will, say it again, WILL make you smell like patchouli to other people, even if you stop noticing the scent yourself. I can shower, dry off, put my bathrobe back on, then get dressed, and will still have people sniff me throughout the day, saying, "Is that patchouli I smell?" It is not too strong, but it is distinctive.

This product is the best shower gel for sore muscles. It's basically a 2-in-1 shower gel/muscle rub combination. The only thing that drops a whole star is that it does not clean well. It leaves my skin sticky instead of that smooth feel. I guess it's perfect after a strenuous workout but not as a daily shower gel.

The perfect eco-friendly gift! It smells really good and it makes a lot of foam. It's also perfect for my sensible skin.

truly good product - the patchouli stands above the rest of the kiss my face bath gel line. the eucalyptus is close.

it has exactly the right amount of patchouli in it, and as other reviewers have mention it rinses off very cleanly, which is important to me (as a guy for whatever reason the deal breaker for junk like this is that if it clings to you and makes you feel oily it's a nogo).

I have been using it off and on for years and it's great.

The ingredients in this formula are similar in at least some ways to the 4 thieves oil used to protect from getting germs and diseases from hand contact, cinnamon, clove oil, lemon oil, and the thyme oil is said in a few products I have read, that it is able to kill about 99.9% of all germs, at least if concentrated enough. But what I really say most on this product, it just feels really good to use it, like you know it is doing you good and is going to get rid of the stink. I like to use it every morning.

It was well wrapped and got to my box very soon. It smells good and lathers well I guess, but I swear this company makes the trial size sample versions of the same thing more concentrated or something. The trial size smelled MUCH better and sweeter than this did..a little dissapointed
