Excellent Read!!,

This review is from: Kiss and Tell (The Men of T-FLAC: The Wrights, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
When Marnie Wright spent the weekend at her grandmother's mountain cabin deciding what to do with the rest of her life, she never expected it to be the turning point in her life. Marnie had grown up with four over-protective brothers. She had always deferred to their wishes because it was the path of least resistance but after the recent death of her beloved grandmother, she decided it was time to live her own life. But a longhaired mountain man, named Jake Dolan, intruded on her thoughts while she was sketching in the woods. He accused her, at gun point, of trespassing on his private property. The last thing Jake Dolan needs in his life is an attractive, petite blonde. He knows how dangerous they can be. Hiding out in his secret, underground mountain lair, complete with security monitors and a huge arsenal, Jake is a hunted man. And now he will have to keep Marnie safe from the terrorists who are combing the mountainside. When I first saw this book, I thought what an attractive cover! Will the story be as good? The answer is yes!! This story has it all--action, adventure, suspense, steamy love scenes, good character development, a strong and tender hero, a spunky, honest heroine, a loveable Great Dane and if that isn't enough-- the story is well-written! Wow!! Don't miss this one. Kudos, Cherry on a job well-done. Also included in this book is an excerpt from Ms. Adair's next story. I look forward to many good reads from this author.

Somehow I missed Kiss and Tell by Cherry Adair when it was published in September. Let me tell you, it was my lost. I'm glad I discovered this book. It is one of those books that pulled you into the story and wouldn't let go. I ought to know since I didn't start reading it until 9:00 p. m. and stayed up until 1:00 a. m. to finish it.Marnie Wright is the over protected daughter of a millionaire. She heads for the hills to spend the weekend at her decease grandmother's cottage before it is torn down. She is ready to reevaluate her shelter existence, decide what she wants out of life, and then go for it. You have to understand that Marnie is no little innocent miss who can't maker her own decisions. It's just the opposite. Marnie has had severe health problems that resulted in surgery. Her mother died when she was young leaving her with her father and four brothers. Sometimes when living in a male oriented household it is just easier to go with the flow than to fight five over protected males. Jake Dolan is a spy fighting to save his own life. Not only are the bad guys after him, someone in his own agency is out to get him. Jake is wants no one around especially the short, blond bombshell that confuses his peaceful existence with her illogical sense of logic. I loved this book. It has great, snappy dialogue. The interaction between the hero and heroine is comical, dramatic, and sexy at times. Into this story, Ms. Adair has thrown a Great Dane named Duchess and a secret underground lair stock with every kind of imaginable weapon and technology. I will admit, at times the plot is a little unbelievable. But you know what? I didn't care. This book kept me entertained from beginning to end. If you like romantic suspense, find a copy of this book and get ready to be entertained.

This review is from: Kiss and Tell (The Men of T-FLAC: The Wrights, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
After reading other favorable reviews of this author/book, I decided to give it a try, and I am so glad that I did!If you love Linda Howard's secret agents and Suzanne Brockmann's Navy SEALs as much as I do, you should give Cherry Adair a shot. I think she'll hook you just as easily as she did me. She keeps things moving at a brisk pace, writes snappy dialogue, and gives us a strong but sweet hero (in the truest form of the word). Plenty of adventure, action, humor, and honest affection for these characters. And (yea!) it looks like there could be a few sequels for them to pop up in in the future. I wish Cherry's next book was ready for purchase right now - I'm eagerly looking forward to it, and I will definitely buy anything with her name on the cover!

WOW! This is one action-packed read. I loved it from the first page until the last punctuation mark. Marnie and Jake provided an absolute thrill ride for those of us who love the action-adventure romance with some laughs tossed in for good measure. This is an intelligent story with smart dialouge and good character development. Loved the chemistry between Marnie and Jake. I also loved being breathless with anticipation as to what would happen next... Cherry Adair, type faster because I am waiting for your next book with much excitement!! Thank you for a great afternoon and evening, this baby was one you can't put down!

This review is from: Kiss and Tell (The Men of T-FLAC: The Wrights, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is a definite keeper. From the first page to the last, it grips you. From the danger to the romance between Marnie and Jake you will get hooked on this story. Marnie is a woman who knows what she wants and goes after it and is not afraid to fight. Jake is a fighter and had to learn about love and fighting for the one he loves.I hated to see the book end. I want to read more about Marnie and Jake. I hope she does books on Marnie's brothers. This is my first book by Cherry Adair, and it will not be my last.

Sizzling and Compelling,

This review is from: Kiss and Tell (The Men of T-FLAC: The Wrights, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is my first book of Cherry Adair and surely not the last. I am more into Historical Romance Novels, however, I give few "contemporary romance books" a try too especially if the rating is a high one. I am glad I gave this book a try as it was most definitely a worthy read. I agree with Susan Anderson, author of BABY DON'T GO, when she said that this book is " A Sexy, Snappy Roller-Coaster Ride". It truly is! Marnie Wright is my first contemporary heroine favorite. She is totally unpredictable. She is full of surprises! One minute she is stuck-shivering with fear then next thing u know, she is running towards the bullet saving the man she loves. She can be forward one minute then shy the next. She can give in yet she also might not... Her personality goes with the flow of the moment, flow of the situation, flow of life. She has consistencies only when she really wants something bad. She can be very persistant (and annoyingly cute) when she wants to be. I love the way she speaks her mind, the way she tease and twist Jake's words to trap (more like confuse him). She got the spunk and the WIT. I enjoyed her character immensely. Jake Dolan is a hard and a VERY cautious man. Betrayals in the past contributed to his emptiness. His childhood wasn't a happy one. He didn't have family to love him in contrast to Marnie's overloving surrounding. He believes he doesn't have a heart and people said so too. But Marnie believes otherwise. Marnie brings out the best of him even in such a short span of time... and in that, I was convince that Jake truly needs Marnie --- he needs her bright outlook in life. He needs her love and her family to belong... Their love story was a sizzling and a heart warming one. Now, the action twist of this book is definitely the one thing I didn't expect to be engrossly involved in. I am not big on "ACTION". But the way Cherry Adair plots it and her words that described everything simply pulled me in. I was too involved that I felt my heart stopped every now and then. No dull moments here. Readers will have to read this book in one seating. I believe Cherry Adair is a talented writer. I will read more of her books especially the upcoming HIDE AND SEEK, which is a story of Kyle Wright, brother of Marnie. Hope it will contain updates of Marnie and Jake, as well as lots of heart stopping surprises and sizzling romances just like this one. I also would love to read Michael's story, he is one of my favorite secondary character in this book. He was also tough, hard and manly... or better yet, Ms. Adair, why not write a book for each of the Wright Brothers. READ "KISS AND TELL" and BE GLUED.

I love stories where the plot keeps you going, the romance is definitly in the forefront of the novel, and the characters are smart and well thought out.Cherry Adair delivers all three. Marnie is a real woman - with real flaws. She's also smart and clever. And head over heels in lust - love?? - with a guy she's just met. So she decides to seduce him. Only... he's not responding quite the way she'd like. Jake is a romance hero - with romantic flaws. C'mon, let's face it - I don't know about you, but there haven't been too many "Spy Kings of the Universe" in my life :-). Barring that, he's a great hero. External scowl hiding his internal torment. Jake was betrayed by his first love, and all of his remainding friends are dead. He's not overly trusting, but Marnie has a way of getting thru even his well fortified defenses. This was a well written book. Lots of twists in the plot to keep you interested. Lots of humor to keep you lauging out loud. Lots of romance to keep you sighing with enjoyment. A definite keeper!

This author will make it big in the romance genre,
This review is from: Kiss and Tell (The Men of T-FLAC: The Wrights, Book 2) (Mass Market Paperback)
With the recent death of her beloved grandmother, illustrator Marnie Wright needs some alone time to reassess her life. Over the objection of her father and four older brothers, Marnie accompanied by her Great Dane Duchess travels to her grandmother's cabin in the Sierra Mountains. However, her idyll time is interrupted when she meets Soldier of Fortune magazine pinup Jake Dolan, who wants nothing to do with his temporary neighbor. However, everything changes when a storm destroys her cabin, but before she can settle in his place, five hit men arrive planning to kill Jake. As he wonders how they are connected to his recent Mideast fiasco that has his job and reputation in jeopardy, Jake hides his guest in his secure underground bunker. Although he mistrusts her after a previous woman betrayed him, Jake and Marnie begin to fall in love even as he goes about dispatching the enemy. KISS AND TELL is an entertaining romantic suspense that never eases up on the full speed ahead throttle. The lead couple is a dynamic pair, especially the incredibly brave Marnie. Her comments as the danger mounts are priceless. Though the underground lair seems stretched, readers will fully enjoy Cherry Adair's delightful tale. Harriet Klausne

Marnie and Jake are a great couple! Their bantering is fast paced; reminds me of Linda Howard's new book, Mr. Perfect (which I loved). The sex is very sensuous, and the story was exciting and dangerous. Don't start this book unless you have all day and night to finish - you won't want to put it down. Cherry Adair just joined my list of authors who write terrific books that make you tingle will anticipation for the next one. Best recommendation---This one is a keeper!

I have to say this is one of the best books I've read in a while. I couldn't put the thing down and I read it straight through! The characters Jake and Marnie were great. Cherry Adair has been put on my list of authors to watch for. I'm very excited about her new book which will have a character that introduced in Kiss and Tell as one of the main characters in her new book. There was a preview at the end of Kiss and Tell. Hopefully she'll write books for all of Marnie's brothers as well. I would love to meet them! If you're looking for a great book with romance, suspense, snappy dialogue, tears, laughter, etc. etc. then I suggest you go ahead and grab this book while you can. I think Cherry Adair will find out she is developing a very wide fan base!
