Kissaluvs Cotton Fleece Hybrid One Size Contour Diaper, Unbleached

This is a GREAT diaper! The sewn-in soaker makes it very absorbent. In fact, it takes a LOT to soak through this diaper. The leg gussets contain blow outs really well and the wrap around wings make for a snug fit, especially with a snappi. We use ours by themselves (around the house) and with a Thirsties Duo-Wrap overnight or anytime we need to make the diaper last a little longer. It fits my skinny 8 pounder very well and seemingly comfortably. I started out with 3, but we'll definitely be adding more to our stash.

i absolutely LOVE the kissaluv hybrid contour diapers! they are super soft on my baby's skin and i can get a great fit with a snappi or pins. Another plus is that they don't leave red marks on baby's tummy either since they don't have snaps on them. I think everyone should have at least a few in their stash! They fit my baby from day 1 and still fit great at 4 months with tons of room to spare.

This diaper might be a good option if you prefer to use 2-part diapers (diaper & wrap). I have found that these types of diapers keep a lot of the moisture next to my baby's skin, which tends to cause iritation. The other problem with this is that I used it with a Thirsties Wrap. The Kissaluvs diaper is a one-size, whereas the Thirsties Wrap is not. My baby is still young, so I bought a small wrap, and the Kissaluvs does not fit well inside it. If you do buy this diaper, you might want to invest in a wrap that is one size larger than what you might otherwise need.

I love fitted diapers, but it can be tough to find the perfect fit with snaps and I do not like velcro/aplix diapers. The hybrid contour is great because you get the same protection from blowouts with the elastic in the legs like a fitted diaper while still keeping the versatile fit of a closure free contour. It fits well under the variety of covers that we have.

I'm a fan of these, but they are really bulky on babies under 15-20 lbs. As another reviewer said, you may need larger wraps to contain these on small babies. Regarding wetness, all contours (and pre-folds) are supposed to be wet. Apparently that helps your kid potty train earlier. (Some disposable users even use in these during potty training transitioning to help contain accidents.) If you want moisture wicking, you need to use all-in-ones or pocket diapers that have a wicking material next to the baby's skin (and then a soaker on the inside to hold the wetness).

I wanted to like these, but they just didn't work for us... We tried them out and here's what we found--

Pros
We liked how soft the material was, it was very cushy.
They did dry well in our dryer.. not a lot of waiting around re-running them through.
They did absorb #1 well and didn't feel too wet to the touch. (did not encounter a #2)

Cons
Not a fan of the bulk on these. They were bigger than AIO and Pocket diapers we've used, and bigger than some of our pre-folds. Some of our existing covers wouldn't work with these due to their size.
I didn't like the fact that the insert was sewn in. The placement of it wasn't right. I like to control where my extra absorbency goes, so this was a downer. (Maybe you could use a seam ripper to detach them, but that is beyond where I wanted to go.)
My DD is 25lbs and chunky, and this barely fit her. They say to 35lbs, so I know it was close, but I didn't expect it to look like she'd outgrow the waist tomorrow.

I use these as backup. They come in the mail sooo nice and soft looking! Then they are washed and they get ugly. Has a terry towel feel. Also have some difficulty getting the snappis to fit on it because the pilling of the fabric is excessive. Very bulky under the covers. My son is a year old and 23 lbs and its still bulky on him. Plus I don't like using snappis on a squirmy kid for diaper changing-prefer something with snaps or Velcro. (I recommend workhorses by green mountain diapers.) One thing positive about kissaluvs contour diaper is the absorbency-good for nap time.

I love this diaper. We have been using for about 6 months now and it has been a perfect night time solution. My son has worn it from birth to 6 months and it even fits my two year old (although he's not in diapers any more)! The diaper is super absorbant and paid with a wool cover gets us through the night with no leaks and no mess. I have a great review and a video that I found here if you are hoping to make this diaper work for your family:[..]
