5.0 out of 5 stars Works exactly as I'd hoped! April 22, 2010

I'm brand new to cloth diapering, but I figured out pretty quickly that I'd need somewhere to keep those wet diapers until laundry day. I purchased a simplehuman CW1322 Slim Plastic 10-1/2-Gallon Step Can, Grey to put in the laundry room and purchased two Kissa liners for it.

The interior lining of the bag is similar in feel to a light vinyl; the outside is a stretchy, smooth cloth. The bag opening is highly elasticized and fits very snugly around the rim of the garbage can.

When it's time for laundry, I turn the bag inside out and add it to the wash. After everything is cleaned, I hang the liner up to dry. The second bag goes in to the can while the first is being cleaned.

I'm very pleased with the quality of the product.

EDIT

It's over a year later and our two liners still look brand new!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best pail liner, hands-down. June 10, 2010

Don't bother with more expensive liners - I've tried them all and this one is the best. I love the elastic opening as it fits snugly in any diaper pail or garbage pail. It does not interfere with the pail lid. It doesn't drop into the pail like those bags with the useless drawstring openings. It fits just like a standard plastic garbage bag, only without the waste. When it's full just toss it in the washer with your diapers and you're good to go!

5.0 out of 5 stars Just exactly what I wanted and it works great! July 1, 2010

I am very pleased with these pail liners! I bought two (one to use and one to wash while the other is in use)for my cloth diaper pail. I have been using them over a month straight and they have functioned wonderfully. I have been washing them in both hot and cold water in the same load with the diapers and then line drying them. They dry quickly and fit my 30 gallon trash can/diaper pail just fine. I am very, very pleased and would highly recommend these liners for anyone using the dry pail method of cloth diapers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy two and you're good to go! July 26, 2010

This is a great pail liner for cloth diapering. I use a plastic garbage can with a flip up lid for the dirty diapers, both wet and soiled. It's a 13 gallon size and this liner fits great in it, but I know it would work for larger pails as well. I just didn't see the need to have a huge pail considering I wash the diapers every two days anyway. Like others have said, just wash inside out with the dirty diapers. The liner is made of PUL, just like diaper covers, so it's best to line dry.

My only disappointment with this product is the stitching along the bottom. One of the two I bought has unraveled from BOTH ends now, and I have had to restitch it on my machine. Just a minor annoyance. Otherwise this is a great product at a great price.

I bought Kissuva diaper liner along with a Planet Wise diaper liner at the same time. At first, both products worked well. I would even said that they were the same except the Planet Wise bag costed me a few dollars more. Both items have the elastic band that allow me to use them with my diaper pail. I would cold wash and hang dry them with my son's cloth diapers. After 2 months of using both bags (I would one while the other one is in the wash and drying), the thread on the Kissuva diaper liner became undone. I also noticed that the liner began to have a yellow tint to it. Of course, since I use the liner for my diaper pail so no one actually sees it while it is being used. I just found the discoloring a little gross. It looks like it is dirty all the time now even after I washed it. For a few dollars more, I thought the Planet Wise bag held up better. After washing them and drying them the exact same way for 2 months, the Planet Wise bag still look barely used. I would recommend getting Planet Wise pail liner instead.

1.0 out of 5 stars Coming apart at the seams November 22, 2010

I have two of these bags and alternately wash them with the diapers and have never put them in the dryer, only air dried them. In one of them, the seam is completely coming undone at the bottom. I am so frustrated that I paid $15 for a bag that is now useless after just over a month. I don't know why I've had such a bad experience and everyone else has had great ones, but I am not a happy customer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Essential for cloth diapering July 10, 2010

I have not tried other wet bags for cloth diapers but I highly recommend this one. It is extra large and fits a standard sized kitchen trash can (13 gal) perfectly. I only have 30 cloth diapers and I have to wash the load well before I actually fill it up. I turn the bag inside out to dump everything in, then throw the bag in with the diapers for the whole wash cycle. Then I hang it to dry. It dries quickly and it ready to use. It is truly leak proof as it gathers water in the wash so I have to empty it before hanging. I also have not had any problems with odor coming from my trash can...although I use one with a lid. I would definitely recommend this item.

5.0 out of 5 stars Keep it simple and you'll save money November 14, 2010

It's really easy to get caught up in a lot of the "must-haves" of cloth diapering and before you know it, you have spent a ton of moo-lah and you're wondering if you are saving money by using cloth. I've used a lot of wet bags and have narrowed it down to using two of these. I have three that smaller ones (about 10x12) that I use for traveling that zip up. I have Wet Happened and Planet Wise and they are working out great.

I have two of the Kissa's bags and that is all you need. You don't need three or four. Two is enough. I wash my diapers every two days and the Kissa bag that is holding them goes right in with them. Usually I find that my diapers need a full dry cycle on low and then an extra 15-20 minutes. During that second shorter cycle, I throw the bag in with them and that's enough to dry them without worrying that it's damaging them.

I do exactly as is shown in the photo above. I have a skinny tall hamper I got from Fred Meyers and the bag fits snuggly and NEVER falls off or comes undone. I keep the bag behind a door that is always kept open and I have NEVER had any stink issues. I do spray the poopy diapers though before putting them in the basket and I still have no issue. I think if I didn't spray them, you would probably smell the poop. But I don't ever smell urine. Most of my friends that use a closed pail liner are the ones that have the stink issues as the urine builds up in closed spaces. However, I would imagine if you went 3 or more days without laundering them that you would get an urine smell. But I stay on top of it.

The only thing I would change is that I wish they came in different colors. Like pink or blue or even green. The white is a bit boring. I would be nice to have different colors to tell which ones I am washing, etc.
