This review is from: Kissed (Paperback)
Have you ever been kissed senseless? Have you ever daydreamed about a kiss that you could still savor and feel intensely? For our characters in KISSED, that is exactly what they experience when their lips meld together.

Cheryl Crawford is married to a wonderful man, but after 20 years of marriage the spark seems to have dimmed. Now that her son is in college, she is ready to fulfill her dreams of teaching in Africa. When a political opportunity arises, Justin Crawford, an ambassador to Ecuador, finds it hard to turn down. Yet, Cheryl reminds him of the promise they made that she would be able to pursue her career goals when their son went to college. Justin finds himself having to choose between his political aspirations and his family. Will Justin be able to make the right decision? Can Cheryl abandon her dreams to again follow her husband? Or will they both give up 20 years of marriage?

Carmen Green has written a wonderful love story. KISSED illustrates the sacrifices couples make to stay married and how important communication and compromise are to the survival of a marriage. This was a well written and steamy romance novel and romance readers will enjoy the well placed kisses throughout this story.

4.0 out of 5 stars Kissed is romantic, March 8, 2005
This review is from: Kissed (Paperback)
I recently read this novel on a road trip and it was a delightful story. It kept me in suspense down to the very last page. I fell in love with both of the main characters and I was well pleased with the ending of the storyline. This is a romantic novel for married couples that will make you appreciate your spouse even more. I have read other books by Carmen Green and she has an entertaining writing style that is easy to follow.

4.0 out of 5 stars No marriage is perfect, February 23, 2007
This review is from: Kissed (Paperback)
I like books about married people and their problems. This lovely book (six years after Keeping Secrets) of a wife claiming back herself from her husband shows that no matter how much one loves one's husband or no matter how brilliant the sex maybe it takes a lot more than that to make a really happy marriage. Yes even tho the ending is predictable - hubby came to his senses in the end its scary to read how close marriages can come to and end even when lack of love is not the problem. Beside nice to see the Crawfords are not perfect- lol

5.0 out of 5 stars The Crawford's Kiss, April 12, 2006

This review is from: Kissed (Paperback)
Oh, another Crawford man and the woman he loves! Carmen Green has written about another of the Crawford men. To have the love of one of the Crawford men is wonderful and exciting, but it is all because of the woman who loves them that makes the Crawfords who they are. It takes a bold, passionate, and truly understanding woman to fit the bill and in "Kissed" Cheryl Crawford is truly that woman. Her work is cut out for her. She has been married to Justin Crawford for years, but lately, it seems Justin is too busy with his political career to truly realize who Cheryl is and what he has in Cheryl. It takes Cheryl's dramatic decision to cause Justin's eyes to open and realize what he may lose if he continues to put his career before his wife and marriage.

Will Justin's eyes open in time to see what is in his heart as well as to see what other men see when they look at Cheryl. Well, not only the heart knows and the eyes see, but the lips can not only speak, but feel and it is all in Justin's kiss that he reveals to Cheryl his true love for her. Cheryl has reminisced about those kisses and what it really feels like to be kissed by Justin. Cheryl and Justin both know that it is truly in the kiss and their love for each other can and will stand the test of time and no amount of separation can fade their love or make it be "Kissed" goodbye. Their love for each other will forever be "Kissed" into their memories.

Another, great story, Ms. Green. Also, I enjoyed the other Crawford stories in "Silken Love," "Keeping Secrets," "Endless Love," and "Doctor, Doctor." Very good, exciting books.
