5.0 out of 5 stars AMAZING book!!!
This is a honest, funny, witty, and charmingly written book!! It's one that you will not want to put down! In addition to the authors commentary and perspective of things, it includes the emails and instant messages that were sent back and forth from the author and her potential "princes". I found myself laughing out loud for much of the book. Don't miss out on this...

1.0 out of 5 stars boring boring BORING!
I'm really shocked at all the 5 star ratings. I couldn't disagree more. I feel like the author was all over the place. I couldn't follow her. The storyline has great potential, but there wasn't enough "meat" to it. The interaction with men and details of the date were minimal and THAT is the most interesting part.

5.0 out of 5 stars If this doens't make you laugh....then I don't know..., December 15, 2009
This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
Hysterical, insightful, relevant and honest journey negotiating the cyberspace waters of on-line dating.
Great read regardless of your relationship status.
This is a Brave new world of dating and Dianne Sweeney has taken us along on her journey.
And if you don't find yourself laughing outloud...then I don't know what to say.
Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Relevent for men!, December 20, 2009

This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
This book was recommended to me by a friend who insisted that I read it. Oh my god! This is not a book to read on the bus unless you want to look like a crazy person!! I was laughing so hard out loud that the entire bus was staring! Not only is it a riot, but it is definitely easy for a man to relate to. I have already told my cube-mates at work to read it. Nice work Sweeney!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing...., February 19, 2011
By
Jessica K (British Columbia Canada) - See all my reviews
I've never written a review before, but in this case, I feel compelled to. When 95% of the reviews are positive, I expect to read a pretty decent book. What I read was a boring piece of garbage. I kept reading with the hopes that the book would get better... but no, it was painfully boring from start to finish. None of the characters (including the main character) were developed at ALL, and I never felt invested in any of them. And for it being "hilarious"? Umm, I don't see it... it didn't make me laugh once. I CANNOT believe how bad this book is, and how many positive reviews it has. In the Kindle store, reviews are a big indicator of whether I am going to buy a book or not, and I am absolutely shocked that this book has FIFTY 5 star reviews. I'm guessing it's because this author has 50 friends who didn't actually read the book. Maybe Dianne Sweeney's other books are better (I really hope so), but I suggest you don't waste your time or money on this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cannot get any more REAL!, December 23, 2009
This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
So I read this book in literally less than a day(more like a few hours)...I coudn't put it down...seriously! This book tells it how it truly is and what goes through our minds. Everyone will have at least 2 sections in there that will make you say "yep...that was me!" Just down right hilirioius and very well written! Great job Dianne!

5.0 out of 5 stars The next Erma Bombeck of Cyberspace, December 23, 2009
This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
I saved this book for the first day of vacation and finished it in less than 24 hours. Dianne Sweeney captures the agony and ecstasy of trying to find your perfect match in the 21st century. She echoed every conversation I've ever had with my single friends who use online dating companies. Some of the characters she encounters are too good to be true. I was proud of the woman she became on her quest to find her prince in Cyberspace. Her candor, wit, and hilarious experiences kept me coming back for more until there were no more vignettes to read. I'm ready for the sequel!

This is a great read for anyone who has a sense of humor. At many points I found myself laughing out loud at how silly dating makes people. When I finished the book I wanted more... This is a must read for every single person that is considering entering the world of cyber dating. Have fun reading this awesome and very original tale of dating in the 21st century!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny and Honest Journey, December 22, 2009
This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
I think the charm about this book is that the writing stems from a natural flow of thought and hilarious sarcasm. This isn't a book that offers the right way to find someone but it depicts an honest journey of someone who is just like me and you...we all want put ourselves out there and falter. In the meantime, all we can do is laugh and enjoy the ride.

5.0 out of 5 stars a PERFECT GIFT for anyone who's ever been single! (aka, every one of us lovely ladies!), December 20, 2009

This review is from: Kissing Frogs in Cyberspace (Paperback)
This book is a serious FABULOUS read! Personally, I like it because it's not a sappy "He's Just Not That Into You" emotional rom-com. It's witty, SASSY, and just a fun read - a REAL read. I feel like this is applicable to SO many women out there. I could see this being made into a movie, but a movie that empowers the main character - in the end, how can anyone find their true love if they haven't even found themselves? I mean, that is just silly! In the mean time, love and laugh with your friends! I've recommended it to all my girlfriends!
