WebSeal plates and mats are compatible with all autosamplers that use 96-well configurations. Kits consist of a 96-well polypropylene microplate, 500 vials, a sealing mat, and a cutting tool (except for kit 66065-070, which does not include a sealing mat because it features crimp-top vials). The sealing mats are placed directly on the microplate by hand or with an applicator. Mats eliminate cross contamination of samples and reduce sample evaporation. These silicone/PTFE-coated sealing mats have a working temperature from -80 to 200 degrees C (-112 to 392 degrees F). Mats are dry heat autoclavable, provide excellent chemical compatibility, and resist coring and tearing. Mats may be easily resealed after multiple injections and feature a large target area. Pre-slit mats ensure easy penetration and reduce vacuum problems. The cutting tool can be used to remove an individual vial with the silicone/PTFE-coated plug in place for further analysis without potential sample loss.
