This is a side-by-side comparison of ten "Spiralizer" products: Brieftons Tri-Blade Vegetable Slicer, Crafty Kitchen Tri Blade Vegetable Slicer, Kitchen Basics Tri-Blade Turning Spiral Slicer, Chef's Star Spiral Slicer, New and Essential Spiralizer Tri-Blade Spiral Vegetable Slicer, Abco Tech New and Essential Tri Blade Vegetable Slicer, Epica Manual Multi-Blade Spiral Vegetable Slicer, Jumbl Vegetable and Fruit Spiral Slicer Tri-Blade, Paderno World Cuisine Tri-Blade Spiral Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer, and Bitoni Spiralizer Tri-Blade Vegetable Slicer.

I was given all of these products to test and evaluate. My review of all of them is objective and was not influenced by the fact that they were supplied to me without cost. They are:

This is one of the best purchased I've made lately. I bought it specifically to make "pasta" out of veggies. I've used it on zucchini, squash and sweet potatoes so far. I do wish it had come with instructions, but it's just common sense. Look at the picture if you're unsure.

This is such a great tool! I follow the Paleo diet and have used this tool for zucchinni noodles and sweet potato noodles. It's super easy to use and even eaiser to clean up!! Super light weight and portable....I would definitley recommend this to anyone that is looking for an alternative for pastas or looking for non gluten pasta or even using it to make veggies pretty.

When I ordered the spiralizer I noticed a lot of people saying that there were no instructions. When I opened the box it had a 2 page manual on how to use it, which was helpful.

The spiralizer has suction cups on the bottom, which is really nice. It seems really sturdy!

I don't like that the kitchen basics doesn't come with instructions, but it is the cheapest one on amazon and it does work great! I found this website and it helped a lot! The appliance is so easy to use and so much fun!

Just what I wanted at a bargain price! This veg slicer is just like all the others only much less expensive, the quality is very good and it works just as it should. It has 3 blades that are very sharp, and a storage area on the side of the main body to store the unused blades. Like others have noted, there are no real instructions for the use or partial assembly of this cutter, but the limited amount of assembly required is intuitive, and all you have to do is look at the picture on the box to figure out how this is put together. There are so many instructional videos on the web for making vegetable noodles, if you need help, just look there, lots of recipes too. I have done onions, zucchini, potatoes, carrots and all have worked fine. This cutter seems very sturdy, the plastic is heavy and the suction cups on the legs adhere very well to my counter top making this very easy to use. I really like it and am very glad I didn't spend more for one of the other brands. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, the free prime members shipping was a bonus and the shipping was very fast. Good value for money, would recommend to anyone who wanted to try vegetable noodles.

It is weak and shabby. It couldn't support a potato and expects you to think it could support cabbage. It wasted 75% of a carrot because the carrot has to be to be a certain tiny size before it can fit through the supposed spiralizer. The turn screws on the handles started stripping immediately and I mean immediately. Food gets stuck in the blades leading to danger if you try to free it and lastly the plastic immediately stains with the color of the veggie even though the tool ultimately will not do what it's supposed to. I had it two days and threw it out. It wasn't worth the time or trouble to return.

It works. It's plastic and I feel like I have to be a bit gentle with it, but it cut up raw potatoes, carrots, yellow squash and zucchini. I ordered one for my sister in law and it arrived broken from shipping. Paid $22, free shipping; 11 meals is my break-even, 9 meals to go. Clean up is pretty easy too.
