My mother cooked with it, and I regularly cook with it -- when I can find it. It's the perfect addition to roasts, to stuffing, to skinless chicken, to stews, and any meat dish that needs a pick me up.

My wife is from Texas and introduced me to this stuff. I now use it on basically everything I put on the grill (especially beef). Adds a nice subtle flavor and makes the meat look even more appetizing from the nice browning after you pull it off the grill. Fortunately this sauce doesn't require refrigeration after opening or you'd be in trouble because you only need a couple of drops per burger (about the same amount as if you were using Worcestershire sauce). So this bottle will probably last me YEARS. But that's okay... since I've never found it in any supermarket north of Richmond. Enjoy.

I paid for the product and the shipping and i paid to return it as the bottle was open and part of the foil top had loosened as (i guess) it had not been packaged well, there was kitchen bouquet everywhere. I contacted them and luckily i had saved the sticky box because they wanted it back. So i sent the whole mess back asap. At my expense, no apology or refund of my money for return postage nor even a darn coupon......hmm not even an apology.

It is hard to find this in the stores where I live and just needed to get some. I love it, great for gravy. Use it all the time.

I've used the product of some 50 years now. The bottle is basically the same except it is plastic now. It has somewhat of a browned flavor although there is no meat or meat products in it. Straight for the bottle it has about the same taste as Worcestershire Sauce without the vinegar and chili pepper taste. Sometimes I use both depending on the flavor I am after, Kitchen Bouguet being the milder and smoother of the two. Most stores carry the 4oz bottles but the quart bottle is my choice that way I hardly ever run out. It makes brown gravy quick and easy when poured over the meat before roasting. Then just add water, some salt and blend in your thickening agent...Gravy.

The wife has used this for years.

I was unable to find this product in the stores recently and was very happy to find it on Amazon. I have used Kitchen bouquet for years and will keep on using it for many more.

I have been using this for 20-25 years. Wouldn't want to roast any type of meat without it. It also adds extra flavor to soups, stews and is required for great brown gravy. It's hard to find the large bottle locally and I don't like to run out.
If you haven't tried it, you really should.

A great item to have in your kitchen... especially when you make a great deal of gumbo or soup and nee to have just the right color. You save an incredible amount of $$ by purchasing a large bottle, and this stuff lasts forever. A must have for any creole cook.
