5.0 out of 5 stars Solid kitchen toy
We bought this play set for our daughter's first birthday, thinking it would be awhile before she really used it, but she loved it right away. Now she's 19 months and still plays with it regularly. The kitchen is really solid, and heavy wood (which was a big plus in our decision to buy it over the plastic kitchens). There are a few pieces that were a little challenging...

3.0 out of 5 stars Not happy
We purchased this kitchen after purchasing Battat Mini Market which turned out to be a good quality sturdy toy with lots of extras (highly recommend!). Can't say the same about the kitchen... Not very sturdy, but heavy if it falls on your toddler, definitely needs to be secured to the wall. The microwave door doesn't close all the way as the parts are mismatched. I guess...

There are a few pieces that were a little challenging to assemble, as all the holes didn't match up perfectly with the dowels and other assembly items. A little adjusting here and there made it fit together perfectly (but I would advise someone that they may need some tools beyond the basics). I ended up using a drill on more than one occasion and had to clamp one piece together that split and had to be gorilla-glued. But everything has worked perfectly since that original assembly.

This kitchen is perfect for my son. He hasn't stopped playing with it since he got it. It's small but has lots going on at the same time so it's good for a tight space. We secured it to the floor so that it wouldn't have any tipping issues since we read about that in the other review. We find it to be a well made sturdy product.
