They really work, really well,

When I'm wearing the glove, I can put my hand on a hot grill surface and not feel any heat, nor is any damage done to the glove. Other cloth gloves do not compare and will wear over time. The silicon construction of the glove/pad do not wear at all and I've had these things for years now. The only issue has been that some of the stitching on the glove has come undone, but that is easily solved with thread and a needle.
