I had been unable to find this shortening, except in very large quantities(forty pound containers), I was excited to find it in this quantity and at this price. I received it in a few days and was completely satisfied.

The high-ratio shortening complements my 6-X Buttercream icing formula beautifully, and the convenience of the smaller-than-usual weighted package -- scaled for the home baker -- is un-paralleled. Wishing to thank you for hunting down yet another fantastic associate and product source.

This was so creamy to use and most of all it made the icing taste good....I reconmend any one to try it....5stars...

This is the only hi-ratio shortening I use in my buttercream icing. It yields the best buttercream icing for wedding cakes especially if you're looking to make an icing that stands up to heat and if your needing to make a "crusting" buttercream. I have NEVER been disappointed in this product.

I use this product all the time for a very light buttercream. It makes it more light than a traditional shortening.

I order this fairly often from this vendor. Always comes in a timely manner, well packaged and a dependable product.
