This wooden recipe box is well-designed, and nicely made and finished. It's also very heavy.

Purchased as a gift, but watched my sister and brother-in-law "hop" right into taking the recipes out of the old, stuffed recipe boxes and start happily organizing the recipes into their newer, bigger compartments. I think they'll love it!

I received this box 2 days after ordering it. It is lovely wood, and very good quality workmanship. I ordered the index tabs seperately. My only wish is that they would have included them with the box.

I have been looking for a large recipe box and this fit the bill. The box arrived quickly and is of good quality. I am please with my purchase.

This recipe box literally fell completely apart before I could even totally remove it from its box. The box had an overall feeling of being cheaply made. Very disappointing.

I had been looking for a large recipe box and read the reviews on this one that said it was sturdy and well made. I took it out of the box, sat it on the table, and when I picked it back up, it literally fell into 5 pieces. The only parts that stayed together were attached by hinges!! I could not believe it!! After looking at it, it does not look like there was any type of adhesive used at all to keep the box together! I don't know if mine slipped through production or what, but I expected so much more for the price that was paid. I would be afraid to try another one.

I had a wooden double-file recipe box for more than 30 years and I loved it. But it fell apart and I saw this box on Amazon while searching for a new one. I love it!!! It is much better made than my old one and larger. My recipes are not stuffed in the box as there is plenty of room. The box was a bit pricey but I'm very pleased with it.

I just don't have the counter room for something this big. I didn't expect it to be so bulky. I had to return it.
