One word: RUST. Guess what, Kitchenaid? Dish drainers get wet. Maybe they should be made out of nonrusting materials - you think?

I don't know why, other than people not wanting to take up too much counter space with a dish rack, but most of the ones I've found and/or purchased are too compact to be of much use than for a bachelor who only makes snacks. And some of them are too light weight and tip over easily if you put a couple plates at one end before adding anything else.

This dish rack is excellent. It's heavy enough to not tip over, it's sturdy enough to handle a good number of dishes, and it's big enough to get the job done without stacking dishes up precariously. And the utensil tray that attaches to the side has 4 compartments which is great for separating out different things. Well worth the price, and I'll buy another one if this one ever wears out.

I love kitchenaid products, I have everything kitchenaid in my kichen, love the diffrent colors my favorite is red. Very thick and true to draining water off.
