quality at a great price,

These utensils are wonderful quality, heavy duty, large enough to use not just for cooking but also for serving. Mine have washed well in the dishwasher and still look good after much use. I see some complaints about the size. I am just under 5'8'' and not very big, and I like the size of these products. I don't think it is a reflection on the quality of the product, just personal preference.

Keep looking,

Although these are less expensive than the silicone Kitchenaid utensils, these are also of much lesser quality. I highly recommend the silicone versions, which are stronger, easier to clean, and will more than likely last longer than the nylon ones. I have owned the silicone set for over a year and they still look brand new. My parents purchased the nylon set less than 6 months ago, and they are already showing major signs of wear (scratches, etc.) If you want the quality that Kitchenaid is known for, go with silicone instead. It will save you money in the long run.

KitchenAid Culinary Utensil Set,

These are the worse utensils on the market for what you have to pay for them. They hold water in the handles whether you wash them by hand or in a dishwasher. When you pick them up to use them, the water runs out of the handles and drips into whatever you're trying to cook or prepare. Do not buy these!!

Way too BIG,
This review is from: KitchenAid 4-pc. Culinary Utensil Set - Red
I have this set of utensils and was very excited when I purchased them. However, after I got them home and put in my utensil crock, I realized how big and bulky they are. They are too long, too heavy and just plain too BIG.and I am in search of smaller red utensils but they are very hard to find. You can find cheap ones in white and black, but not red. I'll keep looking though and retired these Kitchen Aid ones as soon as I do.

Too heavy on the handle end,

These tools are made of high quality materials, and they look very nice. However, the ends of the handles are so thick and heavy that if you leave them propped on the side of a shallow pot or pan, or on the counter, they are very prone to flip out of the container or off of the counter, carrying food with them to the kitchen floor. This happened to me twice while cooking thanksgiving dinner. I will not throw them away, but I would never buy them again.

poorly balanced,

These tools, although fun looking, are poorly balanced and fall over if they don't have enough room to rest on the counter. The handles are a little awkward in size and the bowls of the spoons slightly too deep. I like their look, but I don't like the design of them.

They do look nice,
By Shari (Northern Minnesota) - See all my reviews

The KitchenAid Utensil Set does look nice. The red color, and the sale price of $14.99 was the selling points for me. But once I got them home and used them that night to make supper, I found myself spending more time picking them off the floor and washing them, than I did actually using them. The handles are very heavy, and much bigger than what I am use to. If you don't have enough room to place them up to the siver ring, they land on the floor. Also I found the actualy utensil part, to be too big.

Nice set, but too big,

We received this as a wedding gift, and I was so excited because red is the color of our kitchen. However...when I opened the box and took the utensils out, I didn't realize how big they were. I'm a petite person with small hands. The grips are slippery and the utensil itself is so awkward to cook with unless you're my husband's size (6 foot and up). They remind me of knick-knacks: Pretty to look at, but not useful in any way.

Nice, but big,

I own alot of these KitchenAid red utensils and my only complaint is that they are too big. The handles are heavier than the bottom part so you can't leave the spoon or spatula resting in the pot on the stove, it'll just flip out, unless you have really tall pots and pans. Andre the Giant might enjoy using these, but I tend to reach for my other smaller spoons and turners before I use one of these. I have never had a problem with water getting into the handle.

Terribly designed,

What were they thinking? Did they never actually TRY these utensils out after making them? The handles are so heavy that they constantly tip out of the pans if you tap them at all.
