Received my work bowl in a timely manner. I use a food processor very heavily and my old bowl was starting to come apart at the handle. I am happy I was able to get a new work bowl. My processor is an older model (KFP600WH) and I really didn't want to get a new one. This bowl is just what I needed.

I have an older Kitchen Aid processor. It is an 11 cup and this size has
been discontinued. The original bowl had become cracked (as most plastic
items do) and although it works perfectly I thought I would order one
for a back up. I found it with a little difficulty but must say the
order and delivery went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised at
how quickly it arrived.

When I first received it, it was a bit stiff and difficult to lock, but the mechanism has loosened up somehow and it works great now. It is so good to be able to buy just this part and not have to replace the whole (expensive) appliance! Much more sustainable for the environment too.

Amazon is awesome for finding those vital spare parts to keep your house running. A simple series of choices gets you to the right department and a specific word or two and you have the exact right item. One or two more key strokes and it is on its way! What is not to like!

I am so happy I found this item. I have a KitchenAid food processor that I've had for about 15 years or so. It works perfectly but I needed a replacement bowl and cover (mine has cracked from years of use). KitchenAid no longer sells parts for this model, so I tried Amazon. I still wasn't certain this item would fit my processor (model #KFP6000B). I am happy to report that it works perfectly! The only downside is there wasn't an option for a different handle color (mine is black) & this is white - but it works so that's all that really matters.

Great quality. Pride in craftmanship. I am glad I did not have to replace my beloved, weighty, exceptionally well crafted KPF690 base which I bought in 2006. This fits it perfectly. It takes a few times to break in the locking mechanism. My only beef is that it only comes in white, I needed black. I'm glad they're still making replacement parts like these for the old style processors because all of the engineering and research that went into such a high quality product like this (the base) would be a shame to throw away because of the plastic top not holding up (not to mention the impact on the environment and your wallet as well). I would give all KitchenAid Products MADE IN FRANCE (or anywhere that can make them to this quality standard) TEN STARS if I could.
