I have a 5-quart Le Creuset already and needed a bigger casserole for larger family gatherings. This piece is perfect-great size, terrific price, performs just as well as the much pricier Le Creuset. It works well for soups, stews, roasts, and the newly popular "no-knead bread". It also looks good on the table.

Just a thing of beauty and useful too. Good as Le Creuset and much less expensive. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have three pc's of every thing Le Creuset makes, but good Lord! they sure are proud of it aren't they?!
This KitchenAid casserole is heavy, well made and up to the job of roasting a whole turkey or a huge roast with all the trimmings. You could double the Beef Bourg. recipe which I need to do for my Christmas dinner next year. Great buy. |
