My only complaint is the lack of information on this item. I ordered it because it looked like it might fit my blender, but I was not sure. I have the older KSB 550 model, and KitchenAid does not sell the replacement jar on its website, so this was confusing. I also was not sure if it was an official replacement or an after-market, generic product.

The blender jar did fit my blender, and I received it on-time. It is an official product, and it fits the blade assembly perfectly. I am really happy with this item, the shipping company (UPS), and Goodman's for prompt service, and a quality product. It arrived on-time, in one piece and was cautiously packed - they placed the original box with the glass jar into another box, and filled the empty space with air pillows, so it would not move around.

Took a chance and ordered this replacement pitcher for the Kitchen Aid Blender and it worked. There are different styles so be aware.

My kitchen aid blender is 8 years old (got it for a wedding gift, so it's easy to remember how long it has been!). Broke the glass the other day, and ordered this replacement. It fit perfectly. My blender is black, with a black rubber cap that has a clear plastic cap in the center, and the lid pops on/off (no screwing of the lid). The glass base screws into the black plastic base, along with the rubber separator and the blade piece. Glad this was the right replacement jar, since the Amazon description was a bit lacking.

I also took a chance on ordering this product. I was worried because the description wasn't really helpful but I ordered it anyway due to the fact that the price was the best I could find. I was very happy with the product, it was the exact same as my last one, it even said KitchenAid on the jar. I would definitely order from Goodman's again. The product came in the time frame it stated and it was very well packaged.

Bought this to replace our broken one. Blender was only 1 month old when it fell off the counter so not an older model. DID NOT FIT! We even searched by blender model and came up with product as our model was listed on the sale page.

Buyer beware....

In addition with shipping losses and return shipping for a refund I spent almost as much as a new blender.

ThePartsBiz on Amazon description for this Kitchenaid glass blender jar seems to have deceptively provided little or no information so that consumers will be duped into buying a product that will not work for current model blenders. There is a jar picture, but the only description reads "Fits KitchenAid blenders with lid which pops off. Will not fit models with a screw on lid." OK. While our Kitchenaid blender does have a lid that pops off, this PartsBiz glass blender jar does not come close to fitting. Follow up with PartzBiz has been unproductive so it appears that we are stuck with a worthless glass blender jar. Subsequent information from Kitchenaid suggests this type jar has not been used since 1999. By far our WORST experience ever with an Amazon purchase.

The item was priced right, shipped within the timeframe quoted, and was packaged nicely. Unfortunately, despite the packaging the item arrived chipped and seemed much thinner than the original jar that came with my blender. I had to send it back. I had to pay out of pocket to ship the defective product back to Goodman's because they don't offer customers pre-paid shipping labels in the event of a return. I contacted Goodman's via email seeking reimbursement for the money I paid to ship their damaged product back. It has been over a week and still no response from Goodman's. I am disappointed with their lack of response and will not buy a product from Amazon if it is sold from Goodman's.

After thirty years of use, I dropped the glass jar to my Kitchen Aid blender. I was thrilled to find I could replace the jar without having to purchase the whole appliance.

The jar came within a week, and I was saved from going all over town to find a replacement. It is the perfect fit and does just as I had hoped. The transaction was quick and painless. I simply don't know how I could have had a better experience!

I got the blender jar quick and it fit perfectly. it was the exact one I broke!

This is the 3rd broken blender jar in 6 years (people seem to drop them on occasion), . . . it arrived quickly, was as cheap as we could find price wise, and seened to be as good as the original. No complaints. KitchenAid glass blender jar from - [...]
